  • Publication number: 20240096565
Abstract: A system includes any number of solid-state circuit breakers that couple between a power supply and an electrical load. The system also includes a housing and the solid-state circuit breakers are disposed within the housing. The housing includes a door sensor that generates a first signal indicative of a position of a door of the housing. The housing also includes an indicator that generates a second signal indicative of a position of a handle of the housing. The system also includes a secondary device communicatively coupled to the solid-state circuit breakers, the door sensor, and the indicator. The secondary device receives the first signal and the second signal and generates an instruction to adjust an operating state of the solid-state circuit breakers based on the first signal and the second signal.

  • Patent number: 9218920
Abstract: A remote switching system for electrical switches in a cabinet provides an actuator frame and slider that may be assembled to the electrical switch to engage the switch actuator for remote control. The actuator frame includes an opening allowing insertion of a lock shank through the opening to block motion of the slider from an “off” state to an “on” state thereby allowing the actuator frame to also serve as a local lockout.

  • Patent number: 9177732
Abstract: A remote switching system for electrical switches in a cabinet provides simplified manufacture by attaching the flexible cable sheath and flexible cable to an actuator frame and slider, respectively, by means of flange elements attached to each of the sheath and cable that fit within corresponding receiving slots in the actuator frame and contained slider. A cover, which may be attached without fasteners, may then hold these flange elements within corresponding slots.

  • Patent number: 9177731
Abstract: A remote switching system for electronic switches in a cabinet provides an actuator assembly communicating through a flexible cable with a door handle. The actuator assembly on the electronic switch provides a rotatably captive threaded fastener holding the sheath of the flexible cable to the actuator assembly allow ring a simple single-point tuning of the actuator operation. This tuning may be facilitated by a visual scale showing relative positions between the actuator assembly and an internal slider communicating with the operator of the electronic switch.

  • Publication number: 20060228950
Abstract: A terminal block includes a casing configured to support a conducting member of the type that is connected to a first and second terminal. A cover is hingedly affixed to the casing, and iterates between an open position that exposes at least one of the terminals and a closed position that guards the exposed terminal.

  • Patent number: 6724291
Abstract: A fuse block for cabinet mounting provides a shaft that may exit a side of the cabinet to be received by a handle mounted on that side. A finger attached to the inner cabinet door provides for an interlock by engaging with a bolt communicating with the shaft preventing inadvertent opening of the cabinet when the fuse block is connected to power and/or connecting the fuse block to power when the cabinet door is open.
