  • Patent number: 11927598
Abstract: An analyzer system for in vitro diagnostics includes a sample handler module having a robot arm that delivers samples from drawers into carriers on a linear synchronous motor automation track. Samples are delivered via the automation track to individual track sections associated with individual analyzer modules. Analyzer modules aspirate sample portions directly from the sample carriers and perform analysis thereon.

  • Patent number: 8316820
Abstract: A throttle includes a throttle body having a generally tubular throttle body side wall with a throttle body side wall interior surface defining a throttle body interior for containing an air flow path for delivering air into at least one cylinder of an engine; and a flow regulating mechanism including an diaphragm valve secured to the throttle body and extending diametrically across the throttle body interior for progressively reducing and progressively increasing the diameter of an air flow passing valve opening defined within the diaphragm valve, and thereby regulating air flow through the throttle body.

  • Patent number: 5055757
Abstract: A toroid turns counter for a toroid with at least one winding with turns to be counted by electric counting device connected to said winding having a test winding with an opening for receiving the toroid, a movable contact arm for electrically closing the opening after the toroid has been received in the opening, an activating arrangement which is coupled to the contact arm, and controls coupled to the activating arrangement for controlling the closure of the contact arm.

  • Patent number: 4509670
Abstract: A solder station for production dipping of small parts equipped with an automatic dross removal arrangement which consists of a vertically oriented skimmer motor positioned above the solder pot with a long drive shaft extending vertically downward to the pot and a rotating skimmer blade attached to the drive shaft. The skimmer blade rotates slowly and ejects the dross from the top of the solder pot from where it drops down onto a unique sloping dross tray and into a trough from where it may be readily removed. The solder station may be equipped with a forced air filtering system that draws the fumes from the solder pot through a removable filter and expels the filtered air through louvered openings through ducts to the outside. The skimmer motor may be equipped with a friction clutch that prevents damage to the motor in case the rotation of the skimmer should be obstructed. The solder station may have an auxilliary power outlet and thermostatic control of the solder pot temperature.
