Patent number: 10827724Abstract: The dog walking and watering device enables the user to provide his or her dog with water while away from their usual drinking receptacle. Fluid is stored in a fluid source or reservoir and then delivered to a drinking receptacle. A dispensing actuator controls the valves and positions the drinking receptacle of the device. The dispensing actuator adjusts between a transport position and a use position. In the transport position, the drinking receptacle is adjusted inward toward the body of the device and the dispensing valve closes to limit fluid delivered to the drinking receptacle. In the use position, the drinking receptacle is adjusted outward away from the body and the dispensing valve is open are arranged such that fluid flows to the drinking receptacle from the fluid source or reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2018Date of Patent: November 10, 2020Inventor: Hershel Edward Conley, Jr.

Patent number: 8665055Abstract: The invention discloses a soft magnetic amorphous alloy and a soft magnetic nanocomposite alloy formed from the amorphous alloy. Both alloys comprise a composition expressed by the following formula: (Fe1-x-yCoxMy)100-a-b-cTaBbNc where, M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ni and Mn; T is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Nb, W, Ta, Zr, Hf, Ti, Cr, Cu, Mo, V and combinations thereof, and the content of Cu when present is less than or equal to 2 atomic %; N is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Si, Ge, C, P and Al; and 0.01?x+y?0.5; 0?y?0.4; 1?a?5 atomic %; 10?b?30 atomic %; and 0?c?10 atomic %. A core, which may be used in transformers and wire coils, is made by charging a furnace with elements necessary to form the amorphous alloy, rapidly quenching the alloy, forming a core from the alloy; and heating the core in the presence of a magnetic field to form the nanocomposite alloy.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2007Date of Patent: March 4, 2014Inventors: Michael E. Patent number: 4022636Abstract: The present invention provides an improved process for coating titanium dioxide with precipitated alumina (aluminum oxide) for use as a pigment in plastics wherein a first coating of amorphous alumina is precipitated onto the titanium dioxide and then a second coating of crystalline alumina is precipitated over the first coating. In operation, the pH of an aqueous slurry of titanium dioxide pigment is adjusted to be within a first pH range as the first alumina coating is effected by adding an amount of sodium aluminate to the aqueous slurry and then the pH of the slurry is adjusted to be within a second pH range while a second amount of sodium aluminate is added to form the second coating over the first coating. The present invention also contemplates an improved titanium dioxide pigment having a first coating of amorphous alumina and a second coating of boehmite alumina.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1976Date of Patent: May 10, 1977Assignee: Kerr-McGee Chemical CorporationInventor: Edward Conley Murray
