  • Publication number: 20120180772
Abstract: An assembly for selectively exposing a firing chamber to a motive gas is provided by using a solenoid valve to expose selected portions of a tubular sliding valve to a lower pressure control gas. The tubular sliding valve includes a through passage for transfer of the projectile from a breech to the firing chamber. An on board controller can dictate actuation of the solenoid valve in accordance with a remaining pressure of the motive gas and user input.

  • Publication number: 20120167440
Abstract: A bore sight including a rear casing, a front casing sized to cooperatively engage the rear casing and define a first cavity and a separate second cavity, a laser disposed within the first cavity, and a battery in the second cavity. The bore sight further includes a switch selectively connecting the battery and the laser, an elongate mandrel releasably engaging the rear cavity, the mandrel having a free-end, a tapered seating collar having a through hole sized to receive a length of the mandrel, the seating collar being a separate components from the mandrel and the rear casing, wherein the seating collar can be formed of a different second material than the mandrel and the rear casing; and an adaptor releasably engaging a free end of the mandrel.

  • Patent number: 6941938
Abstract: An adapter assembly for releasably interconnecting a pressurized bottle with a paintball marker, wherein the adapter assembly includes a piercing pin moveable between retracted position and an extended position. The adapter assembly includes an internally threaded female socket for releasably engaging the pressurized bottle, and an externally threaded male head for releasably engaging a corresponding female connector on the paintball marker. The spacing of the threaded connections and the travel of the piercing pin are selected such that the piercing pin punctures a frangible seal of the pressurized bottle subsequent to fluid interconnection of both the pressurized bottle and the paintball marker with the adapter assembly.

  • Patent number: 3987588
Abstract: A formed sheet metal rectangular-shaped frame is positioned between two sheet metal side panels which may be embossed to provide the appearance of small wood panels. The frame includes an elongated frame member for each edge of the door, and each frame member has two outwardly facing parallel spaced channel portions integrally connected by a center web portion. Extruded plastic trim members cover the top and side frame members and include longitudinally extending hook-shaped leg portions which project into the channel portions and snap-fit onto inwardly formed edge portions of the side panels. A foam insulation material is expanded between the side panels and also serves to space the side panels laterally from the frame to form a thermal barrier. The side trim members are interrupted or notched to receive the door hinges and a latch bolt housing which seat on the web portions of the corresponding frame members.
