  • Patent number: 6281275
Abstract: The invention is in a conductive prepolymer composition which when polymerized and cured is used to coat a substrate material such as steel, stainless steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, platinum, titanium, silver, gold, Telfon, plastics, glass, or combinations thereof. It comprises: (a) from 25 to 99 parts by weight of a poly(amide-imide) prepolymer; (b) from 1 to 25 parts by weight of a trifunctional ester selected from the group consisting of trifunctional methacrylate ester, trifunctional acrylate ester, and mixtures thereof; (c) from 0.5 to 15 parts by weight of an organo-reactive silane consisting of an amino group containing alkoxysilane having the formula NH2(CH2)nSi(OC2H5)3, where n is an integer from 1 to 20; and (d) a conductive additive. The invention also provides polymer coated substrates having a tenaciously bound polymer layer which is corrosion resistant, has advantageous properties of conductivity and can be soldered.

  • Patent number: 6209051
Abstract: In a method for switching between multiple system hosts (154,164,174,184) on a CompactPCI bus (110,120), a hot swap controller (166,186) provides to a special arbiter (820) a high priority request signal and the special arbiter (820) provides to the hot swap controller a grant signal only when the CompactPCI bus is idle. The hot swap controller (166,186) provides to the special arbiter (820) a float signal causing the special arbiter (820) to disable the system host signals, which include one or more grant signals for granting bus access to devices on the CompactPCI bus (110,120), one or more reset signals for resetting the devices, one or more interrupts and one or more clock signals provided to devices. The hot swap controller (166,186) transfers control of the CompactPCI bus (110,120) to a standby system host 154,164,174,184).

  • Patent number: 6173156
Abstract: A message processing center (140) is used in a global message delivery system. Message processing center (140) uses at least one GEO satellite (130) and at least one Non-GEO satellite (120) to delivers messages (pages) to a number of ground stations (110) located at various locations on the surface of the earth. Message processing center (140) determines loading for at least one GEO satellite (130) and at least one Non-GEO satellite (120). Message processing center (140) determines available capacity for at least one GEO satellite (130) and at least one Non-GEO satellite (120). Message processing center (140) uses a number of criteria to optimize the delivery of the message data.

  • Patent number: 6101255
Abstract: A programmable crypto processing system (10) includes several processing resources (14, 16, 26) implemented on a single ULSI die. The processing system is both key and algorithm agile allowing for simultaneous execution of a variety of cryptographic programs through the use of background staging of the next program and context (key and state) during execution of a current program. The programmable crypto processing system includes a programmable crypto processor (17) for processing data units in accordance with a channel program, a crypto controller (11) for identifying a channel program, two interface processors (13, 15) for asynchronously receiving and transferring data units from and from an external host. Data units identify a particular channel program, and are processed in a selected processing engine in accordance the identified channel program.
