  • Publication number: 20190089705
Abstract: A policy management service receives a request from an application to access another service. The request identifies a desired access control policy and/or policy-related permissions associated with access to the service. The policy management service generates a record associated with the request, and provides, to an authenticating entity, an activation code that corresponds to the record. The policy management service validates the activation code and the authenticating entity and enables the authenticating entity to review the record to determine whether to approve creation of the principal and attachment of the desired permissions and/or access control policy to the principal. If approved, the policy management service creates the principal and attaches the desired permissions and/or the access control policy to the principal. The policy management service provides the information associated with the principal to the application to enable access by the application to the service.

  • Publication number: 20180305560
Abstract: A process and composition for coating a pipe and a pipe support includes mixing a cellulose acetate, a plasticizer, and an oil together so as to form a solid mixture, heating the solid mixture so as to form a liquid state, covering an area of the joinder of the pipe and the pipe support with the liquid state, and drying the liquid state on the area of the joinder. An ethylene-based polymer stabilizer is added to the mixture of the cellulose acetate, the plasticizer and the oil. The oil migrates by gravity from the liquid state from the covered pipe into an area of contact between the pipe and the pipe support. The liquid state is applied around the outer diameter of the pipe and over the outer surface of the pipe support underlying the outer diameter of the pipe.

  • Publication number: 20180012203
Abstract: A system and method for selective processing of electronic payments such as rent, utility bill payments or debtor settlement payments is disclosed. Payer tenders an electronic payment through a web-based user interface and a notice is transmitted to Payee that funds are available for transfer if Payee chooses to accept the payment. Payee has the opportunity to manually review the details of the incoming payment and can choose to accept the payment, in which case, funds are transferred to Payee, or reject it, in which case the transfer of the funds is cancelled and no payment is made to the Payee. The Payee may also define a set of rules or conditions (including lower acceptance amount or partial conditions in case of negotiations), which would govern the automatic acceptance processing of the transaction.

  • Patent number: 9807982
Abstract: A scalable pet ecosystem includes modules that are activated by an activity collar of a pet. The modules collect data, such as feeding, resting, and other biological functions. The data may be uploaded to a central server for reporting to an owner's computing device. An app on the computing device may be used to link multiple pets via the activity collars to multiple modules. Modules of the system may include a feeding bowl, a pet bed, an activity collar, and a litter box, and a water dish. A pet recognition device on the activity collar may identify a pet within the system. A profile may logically link the pet recognition device to one or more of the system modules. Collected data may be stored in a repository that is accessible to owners, veterinarians, and marketers via a phone app or server connection. The data may be analyzed to identify trends, to provide marketing and industry data, and to provide advice to owners.

  • Publication number: 20170223977
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of milk derived, denatured retentate in the preparation of milk-based compositions, which may be aerated or non-aerated, comprise a skimmed mild source, and/or have less than 0.5% w/w fat. The milk derived, denatured retentate allows the formation of microbubbles in an aerated skimmed milk composition, and thus retains certain desirable sensory perception characteristics such as a good mouthfeel and perceived thickness.
