  • Patent number: 11961662
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a lead assembly of a cryogenic system is provided. The method includes developing a three-dimensional (3D) model of a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of channels extending longitudinally through the heat exchanger from the first end to the second end, the plurality of channels forming a plurality of thermal surfaces within the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger having a transverse cross section. The method further includes modifying the 3D model by at least one of reducing an area of the cross section and increasing the plurality of thermal surfaces. The method also includes additively manufacturing the heat exchanger using an electrically-conductive and thermally-conductive material according to the modified 3D model. Further, the method includes providing a high temperature superconductor (HTS) assembly that includes an HTS strip, and connecting the HTS assembly to the heat exchanger at the second end of the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20230025671
Abstract: A system of using a flow disc to modify a spray pattern of a fuel injector is a system used to change the spray pattern of injected fuel to increase the air to fuel ratio of an engine. The system includes a flow disc and a fuel injector. The flow disc modifies the spray pattern of the injected fuel by the fuel injector to increase the air contact with the injected fuel. The flow disc includes a disc body and a plurality of spray holes. The disc body is designed to securely fit within the fuel injector. The arrangement of the plurality of spray holes helps modify the spray pattern of the injected fuel. The fuel injector includes an injector body and a spray tip. The injector body controls the flow of the fuel being injected into the engine. The spray tip serves as the outlet of the fuel injector.

  • Publication number: 20170011332
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of valuing an individual or group of individual's social contributions. This involves an individual first joining or being selected to join a community. The community may be created by a creator who selects the individuals to the community. The individuals participate in activities and as well as challenges of the community. In exchange for their participation and completion, the individual may receive rewards or points associated with the activities and challenges. The individual develops a score based on their social engagement. This score is a Social Engagement Reward Value (SERV) and represents their social engagement within the community. The rewards provided by the creator are awarded by the creator based on the individual's social engagement i.e. SERV and may come from a contributor. Additionally the community may be associated with a sponsor.

  • Patent number: 6763618
Abstract: A combination rake and grubber implement mounted on a work vehicle such as a tractor or bulldozer has four main members: a lower, open or partially-closed multi-toothed rake; an upper rake that can gather, according to design and porosity, various rake products; grubbers that may be deployed, while the vehicle is moving or stationary, anywhere in an arc perpendicular to the rake plane ranging from below the bottom of the rake to above the rake; and a linkage that when actuated by some mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic force, moves the grubbers through their range of motion. In operation the grubbers bring rocks, debris, and severed roots to the surface for simultaneous raking along with undesirable surface rocks, debris, and vegetation. During operation, the vehicle operator may independently control the rake and grubber positions with respect to each other and with respect to the ground without having to dismount.

  • Patent number: 6014662
Abstract: A user interface is provided that performs much of the work in searching and organizing of search data. It defines search terms and sources ahead of time for subjects that have wide usage, or are suggested by the user. It then organizes collections of search documents pertaining to a selected subject into a book divided into sections according to topics about the subject. Each section of the book is represented by a tab on the book that can be used to select between the various topics in the book. The books can be used to organize information from numerous sources about any number of subjects including companies, products, industries, geographies and people. Standard books can be personalized to fit the users need. For example, the content and organization of a book on a company can be changed depending on whether the user of the book owns the company's stock, competes with the company, or sells products to it.

  • Patent number: 5014901
Abstract: A rotatable welding fixture for supporting elongated structures such as tubes while performing metal welding operations on the tubes. The fixture includes an elongated central rigid frame which is rigidly attached at each end to an end plate and a trunnion aligned with the longitudinal axis of the frame. The central frame can be conveniently formed by a plurality of adjacent tubes each having a rectangular cross-sectional shape. A plurality of elongated structures such as tubes to be metal clad welded are supportably attached to the outer longitudinal surfaces of the fixture. The tubes being welded can be advantageously cooled during welding by passing a fluid such as water through the tubes. The invention also provides a method for metal clad welding the elongated structures while being rigidly supported by the rotatable welding fixture.
