  • Publication number: 20230221831
Abstract: A light emitting user input device can include a touch sensitive portion configured to accept user input (e.g., from a user's thumb) and a light emitting portion configured to output a light pattern. The light pattern can be used to assist the user in interacting with the user input device. Examples include emulating a multi-degree-of-freedom controller, indicating scrolling or swiping actions, indicating presence of objects nearby the device, indicating receipt of notifications, assisting pairing the user input device with another device, or assisting calibrating the user input device. The light emitting user input device can be used to provide user input to a wearable device, such as, e.g., a head mounted display device.

  • Patent number: 11644816
Abstract: Real-time intervention of an industrial process can include searching for a batch of candidate configurations for use by the industrial process, the batch of candidate configurations searched for by performing a batch Bayesian optimization (BBO). The batch of candidate configurations is transmitted to the industrial process to use in running the industrial process. A result of the run is received from the industrial process. Using the result in the BBO, a next batch of candidate configurations is searched. Whether a stopping criterion is met is determined, based on the next batch of candidate configurations and by applying a function to a BBO acquisition score. Responsive to determining that the stopping criterion is met, searching for the next batch of candidates is terminated.

  • Patent number: 11568482
Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, an automated system links data files associated with loan submissions that have different identification attributes. The system may include computing systems and devices for receiving requests from a number of remote computing systems to identify loan products associated with a data file. The system can generate a matching input matrix comparing identification attributes from a first data file to identification attributes of candidate data files. The system can apply attribute matching rules to the matching input matrix to identify other data files that correspond to the same loan product as the first data file despite the data files having different identification attributes. The system can link data files corresponding to the same loan product within a data repository with a product linking key and output the linking key or other data for the loan product to a receiving computing system.

  • Publication number: 20230012699
Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods and/or computer program products that can facilitate providing a defined parameter, determining whether to employ the defined parameter for a variational quantum algorithm, and running the variational quantum algorithm on a quantum system, are provided. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a decision component that determines, based upon an uncertainty prediction regarding the usability of the defined parameter that has been output from a machine learning model, whether to employ the defined parameter in a variational quantum algorithm, such as run on a quantum system.

  • Publication number: 20220156632
Abstract: Classifying genetic sequences by receiving genetic sequence data according to sequence features associated with gene expression, determining a genetic sequence feature set, determining a first classification for the genetic sequence feature set according to a machine learning model, defining a causal feature set associated with the first classification for the genetic sequence according to the machine learning model, altering the causal feature set for the genetic sequence, yielding an altered causal feature set, determining a second classification for the altered causal feature set according to the machine learning model, wherein the second classification differs from the first classification, and defining a set of target features, wherein the target features include causal features the altered causal feature set.

Abstract: A componentized intravascular ultrasound system is disclosed that flexibly integrates with a catheter lab infrastructure for acquisition and display of intravascular information in a catheter lab environment. The system includes a patient interface module (PIM) adapted to hold a catheter having an imaging probe located near a distal end, a control panel, a monitor for displaying images and patient data, and a processing unit. The processing unit is communicatively coupled to the PIM, the control panel, and the monitor. Furthermore the processing unit adapted to: coordinate operation of the PIM, the control panel, and the monitor; and generate images from image data provides by the PIM. The PIM, control panel and monitor are independently positionable with regard to one another.
