Abstract: An example temporary gate assembly includes a support mounted within the ground and a rotation mechanism that supports rotation of cross-members about the support. The gate assembly includes a fixed support that is mounted within the ground by way of a mounting flange. The mounting flange prevents twisting of the support rod during gate operation. Bottom cross-members are attached to a bottom support bearing that is rotatable about the support.

Abstract: A support post includes an inner post that supports rotation of an outer post. The inner post includes a journal assembly that supports and facilitates rotation about a central axis. The journal assembly that supports the outer post on the inner post includes a single ball bearing disposed along the axis of rotation. The inner post is fixed and supports a central post on which the ball bearing is supported. The outer post includes a sleeve that fits over the ball bearing and the central post. Support of the outer post along the central axis provides for improved mounting and gate support. An actuator can be utilized to automatically or remotely open the gate. The actuator is disposed within the inner post that drives rotation of the outer post. The outer post remains supported by the journal assembly and is rotated by the actuator with the inner post.

Abstract: System and method for data quality management and control of heterogeneous data systems. In a preferred embodiment, the system functions as a resource management tool that simplifies the process of managing data systems. More specifically, the system provides connections to source data systems, allows users to view data structures and enables simple management and manipulation of data contained within possibly heterogeneous data systems. The system utilizes an advanced graphical user interface, which allows users to access and manage systems using a simple point and click methodology. The system uses portals, which are tools that collect, visualize, analyze and directly edit data sets associated with different data sources. In another aspect, the system keeps track of its operational status, allowing users to automatically reproduce in one logon session work done in the previous session, without the need to replicate previous data analysis.

Abstract: A balanced gate assembly utilizing plastic or vinyl fencing materials includes a rotatable center post that balances loads. An inner post assembly includes a bearing along a central axis for supporting the load of the gate. The balanced gate assembly carries loads along the center post to provide for the utilization of light weight materials such as plastic and vinyl.
