  • Patent number: 4409951
Abstract: This invention relates to a device to improve the fuel efficiency of an internal combustion engine. The device is preferably located between a carburetor and a manifold body and has a supporting plate with an opening aligned with and corresponding to size to a barrel of the carburetor. A truncated cone surrounds the opening and tapers away from it. The supporting plate is mounted so that fuel entering the device flows through a large end of the cone first. Preferably, there is one opening and corresponding cone for each barrel of the carburetor.
