  • Publication number: 20240141674
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of a tower structure with at least partially additively manufactured, stacked tower sections. Embodiments of the tower structure have a plurality of stacked tower sections, wherein at least one tower section of the plurality of stacked tower sections includes a wall element having one or more printed layers, and a base holding thereon the one or more printed layers. The present disclosure also is directed to a method of manufacturing a tower structure using a stacked tower sections and additive manufacturing. Embodiments of the method include forming a base of poured concrete or cast material, printing and depositing one or more printed layers to form a wall element, and stacking the plurality of tower sections to form the tower structure.

  • Patent number: 8956555
Abstract: Silylethynyl pentacenes and compositions containing silylethynyl pentacenes are disclosed. Exemplary pentacene compounds have 6,13-silylethynyl substitution with one or more groups (e.g., R, R? and R?) covalently bonded to each Si atom of the silylethynyl groups. Methods of making and using silylethynyl pentacenes and compositions containing silylethynyl pentacenes are also disclosed. Substrates and devices comprising the silylethynyl pentacenes and compositions are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20130183219
Abstract: A method to reduce the emission of contaminants such as nitrogen oxides from the operation of a submerged combustion vaporizer. Fuels are combusted and the combustion gases are fed to an aqueous system which heats up and vaporizes cryogenic fluids in tube bundles in the submerged combustion vaporizer. Ozone is added to the aqueous system and will react with the contaminants allowing for their removal from the aqueous system.

  • Publication number: 20100307207
Abstract: A lock assembly including a latchbolt that may be effectively lengthened to accommodate varied backset distances for doors. The lock assembly may include a housing, a latchbolt including an attachment member, an extension member, a retractor element, and an operator. The extension member may be mounted to the attachment member to extend from the latchbolt for effective lengthening of the latchbolt. The retractor element, operatively responsive to the operator, is disposed within the housing for linear reciprocating movement to move the latchbolt, and is selectively engageable with the attachment member or with the extension member. The extension member defines a recess adapted to receive the attachment member. A latch case may receive the latchbolt, and a cylindrical sleeve may receive the latch case and the latchbolt when the extension member is in use to increase the backset dimension.

  • Publication number: 20100006634
Abstract: A sheet of foldable material and a receptacle assembled from the sheet of foldable material are provided. The sheet includes a pair of side wall panels and a pair of end wall panels disposed opposite to each other across a bottom panel. The sheet further comprises a pair of collapsible corner flap panels that are collapsible and foldable along a fold line. The corner flaps define a fold edge along the fold line after collapsing. A folding flap has a first end attached to the end wall panel and is folded over the corner flaps with the corner flaps disposed between the folding flap and the end wall after folding. The folding flap includes a locking tab on a portion thereof adjacent to the fold edge of at least one of the resulting corner flaps. The locking tab is insertable around the fold edge and between the corner flap and the end wall.
