  • Patent number: 11692361
Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling a hanging scaffold system within the aft pressure bulkhead area of an aircraft to provide access to the pressure dome without contacting the pressure dome. The hanging scaffold system comprises a group of horizontal supports to support at least one floorboard. A group of vertical supports is connected to and extends perpendicularly from the group of horizontal supports. A clamping device is attached to each vertical support of the group of vertical supports and further engages an attachment point on an internal structure of an aircraft.

  • Patent number: 7961172
Abstract: A radio-capable device, comprising: a data collection unit for collecting data, and having a normal operating mode in which it is enabled for collecting data and a low-power mode; a radio communication unit for transmitting over a radio channel data collected by the data collection unit; and a radio channel sensor coupled to the radio unit for sensing at least one physical characteristic of the radio channel, and arranged to cause the data collection unit to enter the normal operating mode if the physical characteristic meets a pre-set threshold.

  • Patent number: 4058123
Abstract: A self-contained, combined irrigator and evacuator for closed wounds comprising a housing divided into two sections by a biased divider so that movement of the divider in one direction causes pumping of fluid from one section to a patient for wound irrigation while simultaneously effecting evacuation of fluid from the wound site and collection of the evacuated fluid in the second section.

  • Patent number: 4034473
Abstract: A suture cutter for cutting a suture in a slicing action including a first arm having a free end insertable under a suture and an elongated portion extending at an obtuse angle to the free end, and second arm having a free end and an elongated portion manually movable toward the elongated portion of the first arm, the elongated portions of both arms forming a handle for grasping the suture cutter. A straight edge cutting blade is attached to the free end of the second arm so that the cutting edge of the blade is at an angle to the elongated portion of the second arm ensuring a slicing cutting action on the suture when the suture cutter is operated without a resilient flexing of the second arm.
