  • Publication number: 20240140219
Abstract: A charging system for executing a charging process during a charging frame is provided. The charging system includes one or more electric vehicles (EV) chargers; a load management system (LMS) capable of controlling the one or more EV chargers; a network system comprising one or more wired or wireless connections for linking the one or more EV chargers to the load management system; and a precision-time energy-based control algorithm for dynamically regulating an output power of the one or more EV chargers to meet a preset charging profile. The charging frame is divided into a plurality of sections and the LMS adjusts the output power of each section for compensating an energy shortage in previous sections.

  • Patent number: 11458027
Abstract: An intervertebral implant frame that is configured to be attached to a spacer body can include a pair of arms that extend longitudinally from a support member such that the arms extend substantially around the spacer body. The arms may be configured to expand, crimp, or otherwise engage the spacer body to thereby hold the spacer body to the frame. The spacer body may be made from bone graft.

  • Patent number: 11457502
Abstract: Described is a method and device for detecting a discontinuous transmission state (DTX) at an uplink control information (UCI) receiver device in a wireless communication system. The method involves receiving a linear block encoded signal on an uplink (UL) at said UCI receiver device and processing the received linear block encoded signal after resource element (RE) dernapping to obtain channel estimation data. The method includes determining from said channel estimation data a DTX metric for one or more selected resource blocks (RBs) and determining if a DTX state has occurred by comparing the determined DTX metric to a calculated, selected, or predetermined threshold.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 9, 2021
Date of Patent: September 27, 2022
Assignee: Hong Kong Applied Science And Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd
Inventors: Yaming Luo, Yunxiang Yao, Man Wai Kwan, Xiangyu Liu, Yiu Wing Edwin Chan, Kong Chau Tsang
