  • Patent number: 9635970
Abstract: A tool (1) for separating flesh from a core and a rind of a fruit, in particular a pineapple, comprising: a corer (10) that, op opposite ends, is provided with a driving member (40) and a cutting edge (12); a flesh cutter (20) extending radially on the corer and having at least one cutting edge (22), wherein the shape of the flesh cutter is such that upon rotation it executes a helical movement with a predetermined pitch; a rind cutter (30), provided at an outer end of the flesh cutter and extending parallel to the corer, said rind cutter including a cutting edge (32). The tool further comprises a section cutter (60), including an annular hub (62) configured to be slidingly received on the corer, an annular rim (66), and one or more spokes (64) radiating from the hub and interconnecting the hub and the rim.

  • Publication number: 20100192379
Abstract: Cutting device provided with a curved bottom surface having a predetermined radius of curvature, provided with a front part, a rear part and with at least one longitudinal edge, as well as a cutting blade which is arranged transversely on the bottom surface and which extends at a distance from the longitudinal edge, in a longitudinal direction from the front part to the rear part and is connected to the bottom surface, which front part of the bottom surface is narrower in a transverse direction than the rear part, with a cutting edge extending in the longitudinal direction from a front point of contact with the bottom surface to a top which is situated at a distance from the bottom surface, which distance is at least 50% of the radius of curvature, preferably at least 75% of the radius of curvature, most preferably is at least virtually as great as the radius of curvature, and with an angle between the cutting edge and the bottom surface in the front point of contact being between 65° and 40°.

  • Patent number: 7562794
Abstract: Pump for applying an increased or reduced pressure to a container. The pump is provided with a plate-like part which reacts to the pressure difference between the container and the environment. This part can preferably adopt two stable positions, and a change is signalled. This change can be brought about, for example, by the sound generated as a result of the plate-like part turning over. The pitch and the like of the sound can be influenced by arranging the plate-like part in a hollow piston and providing the latter with openings leading to the environment.

  • Patent number: 7407067
Abstract: Pourer consisting of an elongated, tubular part of plastic material. This part of plastic material is made resilient and has an external diameter greater than that of the associated bottles. The tubular part is provided with a split, as a result of which the diameter can be reduced to some extent and the pourer can be accommodated with a clamping action in a bottle. This clamping can be even further promoted by providing ribs. The pourer is provided with a search point to facilitate introduction into a bottle and the pouring end is flared.
