  • Patent number: 8844436
Abstract: A hydraulic press unit has a fixed part and a movable part. The movable part is moved relative to the fixed part by a hydraulic piston and is moved back into a starting position by a return spring. In addition, the return motion is actuatable as a function of a predetermined applied pressure by activation of a return valve. A control valve is provided which, in addition to the return valve, opens a hydraulic-medium outlet when in its open state and has a hydraulic-medium inflow side and a hydraulic-medium outflow side. In order to configure the hydraulic press unit, when the return valve opens, the control valve is acted on by the pressure of the returning hydraulic medium on the inflow and outflow sides, the pressure being lower on the inflow side due to throttling.

  • Patent number: 8777536
Abstract: A cable lug and a method of use is provided. The cable lug has a receiving tube section for a cable, a flat piece-connecting section that is molded on and is provided with a bore, and a nut which is captively and preferably rotatably mounted on the flat piece-connecting section. The nut does not penetrate the flat piece-connecting section while being mounted by a shaped mounting material section of the flat piece-connecting section, which extends into an undercut in the nut. The mounting material section is in the undercut with an axial clearance. The mounting material section is rooted in a lowered in a step-type manner in the flat piece-connecting section. The lowered area is rotationally symmetrical and is provided with a conical section which opens outward and vertically and encompasses at least one conical area.

  • Patent number: 8672054
Abstract: A hand tool that is preferably hydraulically actuable includes a working head and a body unit that remains in place with respect to the head, drive elements for driving the working head being provided in the body unit, for example a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic supply, a switching movement also allowing a powered movement of one or more working parts of the working head to be triggered and the working head being swivelably connected to the body unit in a rotary connection region. In order to configure and develop a hand tool so that safe working is assured by virtue of unambiguous and clear handling, by swivelling of the body unit relative to the working head about an axis of rotation provided in the region of the rotary connection of the working head to the body unit, switching over can be carried out with regard to the powered movement of the working part.

  • Publication number: 20130202381
Abstract: The invention relates in first instance to a nut having a first part (11) which has a first through opening (Of), and having a second part (12) which has a opening (O2) having an opening contour, the parts (11, 12) being connected so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis (A) which passes through the openings (O1, O2), and the openings (O1, O2) being aligned with one another, in addition, the first opening (O1) on its inner face having a profile which extends in the peripheral direction and which is interrupted in the peripheral direction. In order to provide a nut which is quickly mountable on a threaded bolt, and which has a simple design that allows greater security against the nut coming off the threaded bolt, it is proposed that the opening contour of the second opening is non-circular. The invention further relates to a combination of a bolt (4) having a cross-sectional area with a nut (10).
