  • Publication number: 20230380582
Abstract: A cleaning section for an electric oral hygiene device includes a carrier mounted for driven rotation and/or oscillating rotation around a rotation axis, at least a plurality of first cleaning elements and a plurality of second cleaning elements, the cleaning elements being mounted on a mounting surface of the carrier. The carrier has an outer rim and an inner portion. The plurality of first cleaning elements are arranged at the inner portion of the carrier, and the plurality of second cleaning elements are arranged at the outer rim of the carrier. The plurality of first cleaning elements have a longitudinal axis and a substantially cross-shaped cross-sectional area extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the cross-shaped cross-sectional area having four projections and four channels, the projections and channels being arranged in an alternating manner.

  • Patent number: 10485641
Abstract: A personal hygiene device has a drive unit, an energy storage, such as a rechargeable battery, a determination unit for repeatedly or constantly determining an energy storage level of the energy storage, and a control unit arranged for providing energy from the energy storage at the drive unit during an on state of the device and for gradually reducing the energy level from a nominal energy level to a first reduced energy level during a first energy level reduction time period when the determined energy storage level has fallen below a first energy storage level threshold but is above a second energy storage level threshold and for continuing provision of the first reduced energy level while the device stays in an on state and the determined energy storage level stays above the second energy storage level threshold.

  • Publication number: 20160317268
Abstract: A storage container for an electric oral-hygiene device has a first casing part and a second casing part mechanically coupled to allow for an open-container state, in which the device can be removed from the container, and a closed-container state, in which the device is secured inside the container. The container further has a charging unit for selectively charging the device, an electrical input connector at an outer side of the first or second casing part for providing energy to the charging unit, and at least one electrical output connector at an outer side of the first or second casing part. The charging unit is arranged for selectively providing the energy received at the electrical input connector via the electrical output connector to an external device.
