  • Patent number: 10587677
Abstract: Upon acceptance of a setting instruction for communication equipment (110), a first control apparatus (200) transmits a first setting command to the communication equipment, and updates first management information to information associated with first setting. When an event is detected, a second control apparatus (300) transmits a second setting command to the communication equipment and transmits a second setting notification to the first control apparatus. When the first control apparatus receives the second setting notification, the first control apparatus updates the first management information to information associated with second setting.

  • Publication number: 20110311217
Abstract: An optical transmission apparatus that protects different types of signals with a common backup transponder. The optical transmission apparatus includes working transponder units that relay respective optical signals on corresponding working transmission lines to or from external client devices, a backup transponder unit that can relay optical signals of different interface types, a 3:1 optical switch unit and a 1:3 optical switch unit that connect the external client devices and the working transponder units, and can connect the external client device and the backup transponder unit, and a monitor control unit that monitors occurrence of a failure in the working transponder units and the backup transponder unit, and controls switching of the transmission lines upon detection of a failure.

  • Patent number: 7403518
Abstract: An OLT 1 sequentially allocates transmission permission of a packet on an upstream transmission line to a plurality of ONUs 2 registered, and performs packet communication in a simplified method with control by using a first timer for detecting a packet signal and a second timer for controlling transmission permission time, in order to transmit an IP packet of variable length without mounting a function of complex processing for analyzing an upstream packet in the OLT 1.
    Type: Grant
