  • Publication number: 20040256762
Abstract: In a method for producing a stamper for an optical information recording medium, a master 6 with a concavo-convex pattern is produced by exposing and developing a master substrate 3 including a resist 2 of an inorganic material formed on a substrate 1. An organic layer 7 is formed by a spin coat method on the concavo-convex pattern of the master 6. A conductive film 8 is formed on the organic layer 7 and a metal layer 9 is formed on the conductive film 8 by a plating. During the plating, the layer 7 prevents the resist from reacting with a conductive film and the metal layer and decomposing electrically. The metal layer 9 alone or together with the conductive film 8 is peeled off from the master 6 and thereby a stamper 10a or 10b having a concavo-convex pattern complementary to that of the master 6 is obtained.

  • Patent number: 6628457
Abstract: Angular speed sensors and acceleration sensors are built into the casing of a video-type stereoscopic microscope. The angle of rotation of the stereoscopic microscope detected by the angular speed sensors and the amount of shift of the stereoscopic microscope detected by the acceleration sensors are input to a microscope control unit. This microscope control unit controls a vibration compensator based on the result of the detection. The vibration compensator shifts a lens within a plane orthogonal to its the optical axis so that object light from a field is deflected to a direction parallel to the optical axes of individual zoom optical systems. The vertical width AV of the field and the working distance L of this video microscope satisfy the following inequality: 1/AV>1/(11.46+0.011×L).

  • Publication number: 20030058755
Abstract: A method for exposing an optical disk master includes rotating a substrate disk coated with a photoresist, focusing a beam on the photoresist for exposure through an objective lens, and exposing the photoresist so as to form tracks on the substrate disk in its circumferential direction. At this time, the beam is deflected at least temporarily by passing through a deflector. The beam is divided into a first beam and a second beam after passing through the deflector, and the first beam is focused on the photoresist. A difference between the current position and the target position of an optical path of the second beam is detected, and the deflection operation of the deflector is corrected based on the difference so that the optical path of the second beam is located at the target position. This method can improve the track pitch accuracy of an optical disk having a narrow track pitch.

  • Patent number: 6396627
Abstract: The stereoscopic microscope includes a common close-up optical system that faces an object, a pair of zoom optical systems that form a pair of primary image, a pair of field stops, a pair of relay optical systems that relay the primary images to form a pair of secondary images, an inter-axis distance reducing element, an image taking device and an illuminating optical system. The object light rays incident on the close-up optical system form the primary images having predetermined parallax at the field stops through the zoom optical systems. The inter-axis distance reducing element reduces the inter-axis distance of the right and left light rays. The primary images are re-imaged by the relay optical systems as the secondary images on the adjacent regions on the single image taking surface of the image taking device, respectively.
