The controller has a real-time adjustment function of printing an adjustment image on a roll sheet, acquiring a reading result of reading the adjustment image from an image reading section, and adjusting an image forming condition in an image forming section in real time based on the reading result during execution of a printing job, and an error-time operation determination function of determining whether to stop or continue the printing job, when an adjustment error in the real-time adjustment function is detected, the determining being based on an occurrence situation of the adjustment error.
