  • Patent number: 10159269
Abstract: A composition containing a Lactobacillus pentosus TUA4337L strain (accession number: NITE BP-1479), characterized in that the strain has proliferation ability in the small intestines and/or the large intestine, and preferably the small intestines, after having survived in the intestinal tract. Since the composition of the present invention contains lactic acid bacteria having proliferation ability in the intestinal tract, when ingested in the body, the lactic acid bacteria survive to the intestinal tract and proliferate, whereby the fat absorption can be blocked, and the weight gains can be blocked, so that the composition can be suitably used for the purposes of dieting effects.

  • Patent number: 7766408
Abstract: A forward/rearward slidable and upwardly pivotable armrest supported upon an open center console. Retractable pins associated with inner underside locations of the armrest are displaced upon actuation of a lever component associated with the armrest, and which selectively reseats the armrest at linear travel locations along first and second rails defined upon the side walls of the console. Seating locations established between a slidable and upper support portion of the armrest and the recessed stops defined along inwardly facing surfaces of the rails permit the armrest to be translated to either forward or rearward locations of a center nominal position, relative to a fixed lower carriage with pivot support bracket.

  • Patent number: 5950480
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a shoe of a swash plate-type refrigerant compressor for vehicle is disclosed. The method comprises a first step, in which a spherical protrusion is made on a first side surface of a plate material by a press operation. The method comprises a second step, in which the spherical protrusion is punched from the plate material to form a shoe intermediate shape. The method further comprises a third step, in which the shoe intermediate shape is forged to form a final shoe shape. The two press operation steps for forming the shoe intermediate shape and punching it from the plate material may be performed by continuously feeding the plate material into a press machine. Thus, shoes having improved dimensional accuracy may be obtained because the necessary amount to be deformed during the forging step is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5026222
Abstract: A pin for use in a chuck for clamping a discoid portion of a workpiece, the chuck including a base, at least to fixed clamps secured on a front end surface of the base, a movable clamp adjacent to the front end surface of the base and the pin secured to the front end surface of the base. The pin is adapted to fit in a hole formed in a discoid when the discoid is mounted on the chuck wherein the hole has a larger diameter than the pin. The pin has generally rhombic transversed section with a long diagonal and a short diagonal. The pin is truncated by a predetermined amount at each end along the long diagonal to allow the workpiece to move a limited distance relative to the pin along a line formed by the short diagonal. The limited distance may be a function of an initial clearance between the discoid portion and the chuck or a function or a variation between the diameter of the discoid portion and its design diameter, or a function of both.

  • Patent number: 4930955
Abstract: A chuck for clamping a discoid portion of a work piece includes a base, at least two fixed clamps secured on a front end surface of the base, a movable clamp adjacent to the front end surface of the base and a pin secured to the front end surface of the base. The pin is adapted to fit in a hole formed in the discoid when the discoid is mounted on the chuck wherein the hole has a larger diameter than the pin. Furthermore, the pin is positioned radially inwardly of the movable clamp toward the chuck center and oriented so that the two fixed clamps are equiangularly spaced about and equidistantly spaced from the pin. As a result, the discoid may move relative to the pin and toward the two fixed clamps, without rotation thereof. Accordingly, the centroidal axis of the discoid may be aligned with the rotational axis of the chuck so that precision machining may be achieved.

  • Patent number: 4824345
Abstract: A scroll type fluid displacement apparatus is disclosed in which a pair of scrolls interfit at an angular and radial offset, each scroll including a circular end plate and a spiral element. The outer wall surface of each spiral element, which extends from an outer terminal end of the spiral element to the point of contact with the outer terminal end of the opposed spiral element at the orbital position where the sealed off fluid pockets are initially formed, is a rough unfinished surface. Accordingly, the time for manufacturing each spiral element is reduced and waste of material which is produced when the scroll surfaces are finished by turning is decreased.
