  • Publication number: 20070007313
Abstract: Provided is a clip for hanging a skirt which can be attached to an existing hanger. The distance between the clips can be freely adjusted, thereby hanging skirts from small children's to large adult ones without causing creases. The clip neither damages cloth of a skirt nor leaves marks on a skirt while preventing a skirt from slipping off a hanger. Furthermore, the clip for hanging a skirt is very small in volume and of low-cost.

  • Patent number: 6497456
Abstract: In a seat belt pretensioner device, comprising a seat belt buckle which is supported in a moveable manner, a power generator for moving the buckle in a direction to increase a tension of the seat belt, and a reverse preventing device for preventing the reversal of the movement of the buckle, the reverse preventing device consists of a ball-type one-way clutch defining a plurality of chambers between an inner race and an outer race, each of said chambers narrowing in a rotational direction and receiving a ball and a spring urging the ball toward a narrower part of the corresponding chamber, and the springs are formed by bending a plurality of projections integrally formed in a peripheral part of a single disk shaped plate member into a wavy form. Thus, the multitude of springs are formed by a single member, and not only the management of component parts is simplified but also the assembly work for the one-way clutch is facilitated even when the one-way clutch is not adapted to be formed as a subassembly.

  • Publication number: 20020135674
Abstract: A video providing apparatus comprises a video projector, a helmet-shaped head mounting tool, a mirror, a mirror supporting bar, an image pick-up device, and a signal cable. The video projector feeds video light (a bundle of parallel light beams) to the center of the eye of a viewer, for example, by a light condenser device. The video light is directly projected on the retina without being affected by the lens function in the crystalline lens of the eye by Maxwellian view. Accordingly, clear enlarged video can be fed to a person who has a serious disorder or the like in the focus adjusting function of the crystalline lens, to assist the person in reading or the like.

  • Patent number: 6164700
Abstract: In a pretensioner device for automatically increasing a tension of a seat belt in case of a vehicle crash which uses a piston and cylinder arrangement as a power generator, a spring member resiliently urges the piston assembly in the direction of actuation so that any play that may be present in each connecting potion of the path of power transmission can be eliminated. Therefore, collision between component parts at the time of activating the power generator can be prevented, and the loss of energy which could arise from such collision can be avoided. The piston assembly may comprise a piston main body slidably received in the cylinder, and a piston rod having a base end abutting an opposing end of the piston main body and a free end projecting out of the open free end of the cylinder while the cylinder is provided with an inwardly directed radial flange for preventing the piston main body from being projected out of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6123780
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a spin valve GMR head is describe in which a fixed magnetic layer of the head may maintain magnetization in a desired orientation. In one aspect of the invention, the method comprises steps of: forming a magnetic film including at least a free magnetic layer, a non-magnetic metallic layer, a fixed magnetic layer, and a magnetic domain control layer; subjecting the magnetic film to a first heat treatment under a magnetic field to enhance magnetic anisotropy of the free magnetic layer; and subjecting the magnetic film to a second heat treatment under a magnetic field and at a higher temperature than the maximum temperature applied in the processes that precede the second heat treatment, to fix the magnetization in the fixed magnetic layer.

  • Patent number: 6101007
Abstract: A screen hologram image is reproduced on or near a plane of a hologram plate. A dynamic image is displayed at a position crossing an optical path of light beam for illumination to view a dynamic image on the screen hologram image. By using a plurality of apparatuses having the above-mentioned structure, planes of hologram plates are put without overlapping or with partial or overall lapping so that planes of master hologram images are arranged at different or the same positions in space. Thus, a dynamic image is displayed for right and left eyes for stereovision. Color display is possible. Further, an image is displayed in correspondence to a change in visual point in vertical direction or in depth direction. Thus, in an image display apparatus, a dynamic image is viewed for each of the eyes by using a hologram.

  • Patent number: 5984357
Abstract: In a pre-tensioner assembly for automatically increasing a tension of a seat belt in case of a vehicle crash, an arm is pivotally attached to a base plate at its one end and to a part of a seat belt, and a cylinder and piston device is attached to the base plate to selectively rotate the arm from a rest position to an operative position. Typically, the cylinder and piston device comprises a linear cylinder having a propellant placed in a bottom end thereof. The rotary arm for displacing a buckle or other part of the seat belt can be substantially directly connected to the piston of the actuator, and because the piston rod is pushed out of the cylinder when actuating the rotary arm, the pressure receiving surface of the piston can be maximized. Therefore, the power transmission efficiency is improved, and the required amount of the propellant can be reduced with the result that the size and the cost of the assembly can be minimized.
