  • Patent number: 8440895
Abstract: To provide a drum pedal with a suppressed deflection and no fluctuation in beat timing or beat force of a beater, which allows the player to perform with a desired well-modulated tone, and to obtain the direct feeling, which is a sense of the depressing force being directly transferred to the beater attained by the good operability and the maintained stable attitude of the entire pedal, without inviting an increase in weight or material cost. A drum pedal includes at least: a pedal frame 2 having a base portion 20, a right and left pair of strut portions 21 and a heel portion 22; a rotation shaft 3 to which a beater 5 that beats a drumhead is mounted, and that is horizontally pivotally supported between respective top end portions 21a of the strut portions 21; and a foot board 4 that has its base end side rotatably supported by the heel portion 22, and that rotates the rotation shaft 3 through a coupling member 40 extending from its tip end side in accordance with the depressing operation of the player.

  • Patent number: 8431808
Abstract: To provide a drum holding structure that does not impair the resonance feature or the sound quality that the drum originally possesses, that is free of occurrence of strains or twists in the drum constituents despite a long term of use, and that is excellent in terms of workability, and a drum held by the holding structure. A holding structure for fixing a drum 1 to a drum holding rod 9, in which an elongated plate-like holder member 3 extending circumferentially is held by, out of a plurality of bottom-side lugs 2 and 2A arranged on the bottom side of the drum 1, at least two successive prescribed bottom-side lugs 2A arranged circumferentially. The holder member 3 is provided with a bracket member 4 for the drum holding rod 9 to thereby hold the drum 1.

  • Patent number: 7977558
Abstract: Intended is to provide a strainer having a switch mechanism, which is hardly rattled by a wear, which can be stably operated by a weak force, which does not load a snare assembly and which can maintain an excellent operation feel, and a snare assembly holding structure which has a reliable clamping force so that it can prevent the looseness of the snare assembly end portion. An operation lever is hinged on its base end side to a base body. A link is turnably connected on its one end side to the lower side portion of a snare assembly holding member, and is likewise turnably connected on its other end side to a midway position of the operation lever. When the operation lever turns upward, the snare assembly holding member is pulled upward through the link. When the operation lever turns downward, the snare assembly holding member is pushed downward.
