  • Patent number: 11684332
Abstract: Described are methods and systems for scanning at least a portion of a patient with a gamma detector mounted on an arm extending towards the patient. One described method includes: obtaining data indicative or coordinates of points on the outer surface of the patient; determining a target position for the gamma detector based on the data indicative, of the coordinates; and causing the gamma detector to detect gamma radiation from the patient when the gamma detector is at the target position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 6, 2021
Date of Patent: June 27, 2023
    Assignee: Molecular Dynamics Limited
Inventors: Tal Kenig, Uri Goldberg, Eli Stern

  • Publication number: 20170112189
Abstract: This invention has multiple uses for smoking self-rolled cigarettes or the bigger ones called blunts made out of cigars or cigar rolling papers and even work as a paperless cigarette, paperless joint, or paperless joint. This embodiment has 4 parts of aluminum other metals or heat resistant materials may be used and 2 metal screens. A blunt or joint may be placed into the device to be used as a holder tube 2 that is cone shaped for adjustable fitting for joints, or smaller roller cigarettes or into tube 3 that is cone shaped for adjustable fitting for blunts, or larger roller cigarettes that protects the user from getting tobacco or legal marijuana into their mouth, it may also be used as a paperless joint, cigarette or blunt, by putting the tobacco or legal marijuana direct into the device in tube (3). It can also be used to store an unfinished hand rolled or paperless rolled cigarette, legal joint or blunt.

  • Patent number: 9078618
Abstract: Methods and systems for patient alignment for nuclear medicine imaging are provided. One method includes activating a proximity sensor system associated with imaging detectors of the diagnostic imaging system, wherein the imaging detectors are in an L-mode configuration. The method also includes initiating movement of a patient table of the diagnostic imaging system and using a sensed proximity of a patient on the moving patient table by the proximity sensor system to automatically adjust a height of the patient table on which the patient is supported to a patient table height scanning position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 29, 2010
Date of Patent: July 14, 2015
    Assignee: General Electric Company
