  • Patent number: 11207055
Abstract: Example apparatus, systems, and methods for image data processing are disclosed and described. An example system includes an image capturer to facilitate capture of an image. The example system includes a Doppler spectrum recorder to record a Doppler spectrum. The example system includes a study type inferrer to infer a study type associated with the Doppler spectrum by: processing the Doppler spectrum using at least one neural network to generate a first probability distribution among study type classifications; processing the image using the at least one neural network to generate a second probability distribution among the study type classifications; and combining the first probability distribution and the second probability distribution to infer a study type.

Inventors: Renato Keshet, Omer Barkol, Eyal Hayun, Eigil Samset, Elina Sokulin
  • Patent number: 11197657
Abstract: Systems and methods generally relate to identifying ultrasound images from multiple ultrasound exams. The systems and methods identify a first ultrasound image feature of a current ultrasound image of an anatomical structure during a current ultrasound exam based on ultrasound data received from an ultrasound probe, and accessing a plurality of prior ultrasound images that were acquired during a prior ultrasound exam. The systems and methods compare the first ultrasound image feature in the current ultrasound image with related ultrasound image features in the plurality of prior ultrasound images to identify candidate ultrasound images. The systems and methods identify a resultant ultrasound image from the candidate ultrasound images based on the related ultrasound image features, and display the current and resultant ultrasound images on a display.

  • Publication number: 20190012432
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein generally relate to reviewing ultrasound images between different ultrasound exams. The systems and methods acquire a plurality of ultrasound images of an anatomical structure during a first ultrasound exam based on ultrasound data received from an ultrasound probe, analyze the ultrasound images to identify an anatomical characteristic in the ultrasound images, group the ultrasound images into groups based on the anatomical characteristics, and display at least one group of the ultrasound image on a graphical user interface (GUI).

  • Publication number: 20180344292
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for automatically analyzing a displayed Doppler spectrum, acquired with an ultrasound system, containing multiple heart cycles of data. As one example, a method may include automatically tracing a spectrum displayed via a user interface of an ultrasound system, the spectrum including data from a plurality of cycles acquired with the ultrasound system; displaying measurement parameters and measurement graphics for the traced spectrum; and automatically updating the displayed measurement parameters for a selected number of cycles out of the plurality of cycles to include in the traced spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20180322627
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein generally relate to acquiring medical images for a protocol of an ultrasound exam. The systems and methods select a protocol of an ultrasound exam. The protocol includes a plurality of protocol defined fields of view (FOVs) of an anatomical structure of interest. The system and methods generate a medical image of the anatomical structure of interest based on ultrasound data acquired from an ultrasound probe, and identify a candidate FOV associated with the anatomical structure of interest based on anatomical markers of the medical image. The systems and methods also indicate on a graphical user interface (GUI) that the candidate FOV is acquired such that a select characteristic of a first user interface component of the GUI representing the candidate FOV is adjusted while the remaining user interface components representing the plurality of protocol defined FOVs do not include the select characteristic.
