  • Patent number: 10939374
Abstract: A method of waking up a device is described. The device can be connected to a first network, comprising an access apparatus via which the device is able to access a second network. The device can include a plurality of network interfaces, and respective addresses, for communication with the access apparatus. The method can include prior storage in a memory accessible by the access apparatus of a correspondence table including a plurality of correspondences between the addresses and at least one parameter identifying the device. When the access apparatus receives a wakeup command with respect to the device, the command including an address, the addresses relating to the device are determined by cross-checking in the table, and the access apparatus transmits to the device at least one wakeup command including a resulting address.

  • Patent number: 10425454
Abstract: A transfer method and a method for controlling the transfer of digital content. The content is available on a content server, accessible via a service gateway, and can be processed by at least two devices of a user, namely a first device known as the mobile device and at least one second device known as the rendering device. The rendering device is connected to a transfer device. The content is selected on the mobile device and rendered on the rendering device. The transfer method includes: opening a point-to-point communication channel between the mobile device and the transfer device; receiving an identifier of a service gateway over the point-to-point communication channel; connecting the transfer device to a local network using the gateway identifier received; receiving an identifier of content to be rendered; accessing the identified content on the content server via the identified gateway.

  • Patent number: 9942620
Abstract: A method and device for controlling the rendering of digital content that is progressively downloaded on a content server in a wide-area communication network. The content can be accessed via at least one service gateway, and can be downloaded in order to be rendered on at least one rendering device that can communicate with the service gateway and that is equipped with a native remote control device. The method includes: reception, from the rendering device, of a datum relating to a command selected on the native remote control device; generation of a request for the progressive download of digital content associated with the selected command, based on the datum received; transmission of the progressive download request to the content server via the service gateway.

  • Patent number: 9083916
Abstract: Method for generating at least one mosaic of content-transport streams, said method comprises the following steps after displaying a screen including at least a first area (Z1) intended for displaying a mosaic and a second area (Z2) comprising a content identifier list: a/ detecting a command for selecting an identifier from a list coming from a user control interface; b/ modifying the screen definition (E2) by adding a mosaic element (Em1) showing the stream representing the content identified by the selected identifier in the first area (Z1); c/ transmitting the screen definition data to the display device for displaying the modified screen.

  • Patent number: 8510474
Abstract: A method for supporting a 6to4 tunneling protocol across a network address translation mechanism. The method comprises the steps of receiving an outbound IPv6 packet encapsulated into an IPv4 packet, translating the private IPv4 source address in the IPv4 header of the outbound packet into a public IPv4 source address, transmitting the translated packet over the IPv4 network; and is characterized in that it further comprises the step of storing an association of the private IPv4 address and the Interface ID value of the 6to4 source address for opposite address translation of inbound packets. A corresponding device is also claimed.
