  • Publication number: 20120157659
Abstract: This invention describes a process for separating a fusion protein or polypeptide in the form of its precursor from a mixture containing said fusion protein and impurities, which comprises contacting said fusion protein with a resin containing immobilized metal ions, said fusion protein covalently operably linked directly or indirectly to an immobilized metal ion-affinity peptide, binding said fusion protein to said resin, and selectively eluting said fusion protein from said resin.

  • Publication number: 20100222000
Abstract: A mobile communication device (e.g. a handheld telephone device) has a first wireless transceiver for communications via a wireless communication network and a second wireless transceiver for communications with a wireless peripheral device (e.g. a wireless audio headset or earpiece). The mobile device receives, from the wireless peripheral, an identification of a type or model of the wireless peripheral. The mobile device causes user interface (UI) function mapping information of the wireless peripheral to be selectively retrieved based on the received identification of the type or model. The UI function mapping information is indicative of a plurality of device functions assigned to a plurality of user input controls of the wireless peripheral. UI instruction information which is based on the retrieved UI function mapping information is then displayed at the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20040259162
Abstract: The present invention provides containers, processes, and kits relating to the extraction or the extraction and isolation of a cellular component from a host cell. More specifically, the containers of the invention comprise a mouth; an interior surface comprising a sidewall formation and a bottom; a volume; a lytic reagent; and in some instances, a supported capture ligand. Methods and kits for the extraction or the extraction and isolation of a cellular component from a host cell using the containers described herein are also provided.
