  • Publication number: 20220300977
Abstract: This document describes a computer-implemented method that includes storing information in a standardized format about an organization's susceptibility to social engineering in a plurality of network-based, non-transitory storage devices having a collection of social engineering risk indicators stored thereon; importing, using an integration layer, non-standardized updated information about the organization from one or more data sources; converting, using a first analytics engine, the non-standardized updated information into the standardized format; and transmitting, via the integration layer, the standardized updated information for one or more organizations to a second analytics engine configured to determine a transaction risk indicator for a transaction.

  • Publication number: 20180299012
Abstract: A seal device is provided for sealing a cylindrical component upon axial insertion of the cylindrical component, with the seal device including an annular flange portion defining a first opening having a first diameter, and a skirt portion integral with the annular flange portion and extending axially and radially inward from the flange portion. The skirt portion includes a plurality of first sectors extending axially inward from the flange portion to an axially inner edge of the skirt portion, each having an inner undulation defining a second opening having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The plurality of first sectors are circumferentially spaced apart by a plurality of second sectors extending axially outward from the flange portion to the axially inner edge of the skirt portion, each having an outer undulation defining a third opening having a third diameter smaller than the first diameter.

  • Publication number: 20170261137
Abstract: A preassembly for a conduit fitting includes an annular fitting component having an interior wall extending along a central axis from an inboard end to an outboard end, a conduit gripping device disposed in the annular fitting component and comprising an outer radial surface at a back portion thereof, and a retaining device having an inboard first interlock portion that interlocks with the outer radial surface of the conduit gripping device, and an outboard second interlock portion axially spaced apart from the first interlock portion, the second interlock portion interlocking with the interior wall of the annular fitting component, such that the retaining device holds said annular fitting component and said conduit gripping device together as a discrete subassembly.

  • Patent number: 7208437
Abstract: A catalyst is synthesized by a method in which a catalytic metal such as platinum or another noble metal is dispersed onto a support member. A transition metal macrocycle is also adsorbed onto the support, and the support is heat treated so as to at least partially pyrolyze the macrocycle and anchor the transition metal to the support. The catalytic metal is alloyed with the transition metal either during the pyrolysis step, or in a separate step. The catalyst has significant utility in a variety of applications including use as an oxygen reduction catalyst in fuel cells.

  • Patent number: 6969031
Abstract: A mobile IV pole has a wheeled base with an enclosure that substantially covers the wheels and a bumper secured to the enclosure. A pole is coupled to the base, and a plurality of hook or other holders are provided for holding intravenous fluid reservoirs. The pole may include first and second arms that extend substantially vertically upwardly from the base, each arm made up of respective lower, central, and upper telescoping tubular portions. The lower portions of the arms are securely coupled to the base, the upper portions are rigidly interconnected with one another, and the central portions of the first and second arms are rigidly interconnected by a stabilization bar which has a plurality of routing channels therein for routing flexible IV tubing. An obliquely oriented handle is coupled to the pole and is axially movable along at least a portion of the pole. The IV pole may be provided with an electrical receptacle having a retractable power cord.
