  • Patent number: 11941617
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing pre-staged transactions via lockers are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary computer-implemented method may comprise receiving a request from a user to perform a pre-staged transaction at a physical location; generating a first token based on the pre-staged transaction; transmitting first token to an app executing on a mobile device associated with the user; assigning a locker from a plurality of lockers positioned within the physical location; receiving the first token from the app executing on the mobile device of the user to initiate access to the locker when the user is within the physical location; authenticating the user based on the first token; transmitting, upon successful authentication of the user, a second token to the app executing on the mobile device; and causing, in response to receiving the second token at the locker, the locker to unlock.

  • Publication number: 20220211645
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of distributing agents into bone and the maintenance of those agents within bone. These methods include mechanical, rheological, pharmacological, and other methods. By maintaining injectates within a targeted location in bone and increasing their distribution in bone, the methods are useful for purposes including but not limited to increasing local concentration, improving therapeutic effectiveness, increasing duration of action, and decreasing systemic toxicity. These same methods can displace the contents of bone toward a harvesting instrument for purposes of collection with similar and complimentary methods. The methods are useful for controlling the rate of egress of intraosseous distribution of agents or cells for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to: augmenting stem cell recovery in bone marrow aspiration, chemotherapy, medication delivery, treatment of infection, bone augmentation, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20210106240
Abstract: A technology for obtaining a fetal heart rate from an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. In one example, an artificial neural network model can be trained to predict a fetal heart rate using a training dataset containing ECG data. The artificial neural network model can include a first series of convolutional layers to separate a fetal ECG signal from a maternal ECG signal, a fast Fourier transform (FFT) layer to convert the fetal ECG signal to ECG frequency representations, and a dense layer to decode the ECG frequency representations to fetal heart rate predictions. After training the artificial neural network model, ECG data generated by an ECG monitor can be obtained, and the ECG data can be input to the artificial neural network model. The artificial neural network model outputs a fetal heart rate prediction, wherein the fetal heart rate prediction represents the fetal heart rate obtained from the ECG signal.

  • Patent number: 8283023
Abstract: A flexible edge seal for a vacuum insulating glazing unit. The flexible edge seal comprises an elongate first edge seal portion having a substantially constant first cross-section and including a bonding flange at one end, a weld surface at the other end and a first center portion therebetween. An elongate second edge seal portion has a substantially constant second cross-section and includes a bonding flange at one end, a weld surface at the other end and a second center portion therebetween. Each bonding flange includes a substantially flat portion adapted for hermetic bonding to a surface of a different one of a pair of glass panes. The weld surfaces are hermetically joined to one another forming a hermetic seal therebetween. At least one of the first center portion and the second center portion has a convolute cross-section and is asymmetrical to the other center portion.

  • Publication number: 20100119740
Abstract: A glass-to-metal bond structure comprises a metal substrate, a glass substrate and an oxide layer. The metal substrate is formed from a stainless steel alloy, a carbon steel, titanium, aluminum or copper. The glass substrate is formed from a soda-lime glass. The oxide layer is disposed between the metal substrate and the glass substrate, and includes iron oxide and chromium oxide. The oxide layer has an iron to chromium ratio within the range from 0.02 to 0.6 (atom ratio).
