  • Publication number: 20240119804
Abstract: A method and/or system to perform operations associated with a roulette game. The operations include detecting placement of a roulette bet by at least one player terminal of a plurality of player terminals of the gaming system. The roulette bet is placed prior to computing a result for a playing round of a roulette game. The operations further include computing a prorated amount of a progressive jackpot award based on a bet level of the roulette bet. The operations also include animating, by the processor via an electronic display device of the at least one player terminal, a highlight effect of the prorated amount.

  • Publication number: 20230114268
Abstract: A method and/or system to perform operations associated with a roulette game. The operations include selecting, via a random number generator, a set of multiplier levels for a roulette game. The roulette game is associated with a plurality of terminals. The operations further include selecting one or more sets of random layout values from a betting layout for the roulette game, and pairing, based on multiplier-level type, each member of the set of multiplier levels with at least one of the one or more sets of random layout values. The operations further include animating, via one or more displays associated with the plurality of terminals, a highlight effect for each pair that occurs from the pairing of each member of the set of multiplier levels with the at least one of the one or more sets of random layout values.

  • Patent number: 10147267
Abstract: Methods of administering games of roulette may involve accepting a wager may from a player. A multiplier may be randomly selected from a group of fixed multipliers for a payout on the wager. A number and associated color may be randomly generated from within a range of numbers and associated colors. The wager may be resolved by determining whether the randomly generated number is identical to a randomly generated number from an immediately preceding round. A payout may be paid to the player when the randomly generated number is identical to the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round, an amount of the payout being equal to an amount of the wager multiplied by the randomly selected multiplier. The amount of the wager may be collected for the house when the randomly generated number is different from the randomly generated number from the immediately preceding round.

  • Publication number: 20170287285
Abstract: A seven-card wagering game includes a player and a dealer each receiving a seven-card hand after the player places an ante wager. A specialty deck may be used, which specialty deck may include five wild cards and twelve value cards (e.g., three through ace) in each of four suits. Each seven-card hand is formed into a two-card hand and a five-card hand that has a higher “flush ranking” than the two-card hand. A player's and dealer's respective five-card hands are compared while their respective two-card hands are compared to resolve at least the ante wager. The comparison also use “flush ranking.” By the flush ranking, rankings are determined and then compared based on the length of the longest flush; then the higher, non-matching, high-card value of the longest flush; then the length of the second-longest flush; then the higher, non-matching, high-card value of the second-longest flush; and so on.

  • Publication number: 20160260287
Abstract: A method of administering a wagering game includes accepting a baccarat wager from a player by receiving a first physical, monetarily valuable wagering element in one of three designated baccarat wager areas on a surface of a gaming table, the designated baccarat wager areas corresponding to a wager on a player winning hand, a banker winning hand, and a tie between player and banker hands, respectively. The method also includes accepting a side wager from the player by receiving a second physical, monetarily valuable wagering element in a designated side wager area on the surface of the gaming table. A payout is paid to the player on the side wager when the score of the player hand is one greater than the score of the banker hand.

  • Publication number: 20160096104
Abstract: Methods of administering wagering games include comparing a longest straight of a first set of cards with a longest straight of a second set of cards. A payout may be paid to a player associated with the first set of cards when the longest straight of the first set of cards is longer than the longest straight of the second set of cards or the longest straight of the first set of cards is of equal length to the longest straight of the second set of cards and a final card of the longest straight of the first set of cards is higher or equal in rank to a final card of the longest straight of the second set of cards. Systems, gaming tables, and electronic gaming machines to perform such methods are disclosed.
