    Abstract: A bushing system includes a bushing monitor configured to monitor on-line operation of a capacitive-core bushing with a test tap. The bushing monitor includes a processor operatively coupled to a memory. The processor is configured to access a voltage signal received indicating a measured voltage amplitude or phase of the bushing. The processor is configured to access a current signal received indicating a measured current amplitude or phase of the bushing. The processor is configured to determine a capacitance value and/or a power factor value of the bushing based on the measured voltage and the measured current values, and generate a resultant signal or output based on the capacitance value and/or the power factor value of the bushing.
