Abstract: A pliant tip is provided for a dental x-ray film holder to keep the vertical plate portion of the x-ray film holder from causing discomfort to the upper roof or lower floor of a patient's mouth when the x-ray film holder with film is placed behind a patient's tooth.

Abstract: A hanger positioner for mounting objects to wall comprises a telescopic device wherein each of the telescopic members has a protuberance that can fit into hanger openings on the object to be mounted by the sliding of one telescopic member relative to another and wherein a wall marking device is located in alignment with each protuberance so that after the telescopic members are properly aligned to the hanger openings the positioner can be placed against a wall so that the wall marking devices can make a mark on the wall in alignment with hanger openings.

Abstract: A gum packing tool made from a sterilizable elastic endless strand which can be enlarged by tensioning the strand so that the strand can fit over a patient's tooth and when the tension is released, the strand will be tensioned against the sides of the tooth, whereupon the tool can be moved along the side of the tooth to come in contact with the soft tissue gum line so as to provide a tamping surface for forcing the soft tissue gum against the root portions of the tooth. The method for utilizing the tool is also provided.

Abstract: A positioning aid, formed T-shaped, is adhesively attached to portions of a broken denture plate prior to placement of the dental plate portions into a dental impression tray whereby the positioning aids extend into and are embedded into the impression material in the dental tray and act as positioners and stabilizers to properly align and hold the dental plate portions while the dental impression material hardens.
