  • Publication number: 20210275699
Abstract: A device for killing bacteria on a surface includes an application anode plate having a silver surface adapted for contact with a first epithelial surface, a cathode plate having an electrically conductive cathodic surface layer adapted for contact of the surface layer with a second epithelial surface; and a source of direct electrical current.

  • Patent number: 9220377
Abstract: A dispenser comprises a liquid piston and a gas piston coupled for movement. The pistons are mounted for movement relative to one another to define a mixing chamber therebetween. An actuator simultaneously moves the pistons in a first direction such that the air piston delivers air from an air chamber to the mixing chamber and the liquid piston delivers a liquid from a liquid chamber to the mixing chamber where the air and liquid are mixed in the mixing chamber to create a foam. Movement of one of the air piston and the liquid piston is stopped such that the pistons move relative to one another such that only air is delivered to the mixing chamber. The movement of the pistons in a second direction draws residual foam from a delivery tube and delivers the residual foam to the air chamber.

  • Publication number: 20060091063
Abstract: Contamination of an automatic faucet with bacteria, e-coli and other harmful materials is avoided by coating inlet screens of such faucets with silver. Contact of the silver coating with water borne contaminants within the faucet removes most harmful contaminants in the water. A screen structure particularly suited for insertion in the water inlet of automatic faucets is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050103649
Abstract: The present invention relates to a contact lens inserting and handling device having a suction cup at one end thereof. A portion of the inserting and handling device is deformable upon the application of pressure thereon by a user and thereby permits the formation of a vacuum on the inside of the inserting and handling device when the user seals air from around the inserting and handling device from entering through a vacuum bleed hole. Also disclosed is a contact lens storage container which permits reversal of the concavity of the contact lens.
