  • Publication number: 20080282856
Abstract: A cutting method for cutting to size a wooden Venetian blind, already at least partly assembled, in a cutting machine, comprises a first step in which the wooden Venetian blind and a first cutting unit of the cutting machine, provided with first cutting means able to cut the metal container of the wooden Venetian blind, are brought into proximity by means of a first movement unit of the cutting machine, a second step in which the metal container is cut by means of the first cutting unit, and a third step in which the first cutting unit and the wooden Venetian blind are distanced from each other by means of the first movement unit, a fourth step in which the wooden Venetian blind and a second cutting unit of the cutting machine, provided with second cutting means able to cut the wooden slats of the wooden Venetian blind, are brought into proximity by means of a second movement unit of the cutting machine and a fifth step in which the wooden slats are cut by means of the second cutting unit.

  • Publication number: 20060260765
Abstract: Venetian-type blind (10), disposed to cover an aperture of a wall and comprising a plurality of slats (13), a metal container (12), and a mechanism to move the slats (13), disposed at least partly inside the container (12) and comprising two movement drums (11, 14), and a rod (22) on which the two drums (11, 14) are mounted. The rod (22) comprises at least a first tubular element (30) and a second tubular element (31) telescopic with respect to each other. A first part (20) of the container (12) and a relative first drum are mounted on the first tubular element (30), while a second part (21) of the container (12) and a relative second drum (14) are mounted on the second tubular element (31).

  • Publication number: 20050091924
Abstract: A shutter including a unique configuration for pivotably mounting a plurality of louvers is provided herein. The louvers are mounted at either end to first and second connection and orientation elements. The first and second connection and orientation elements are received within groove in first and second stiles. Upper and lower rails may be secured at upper and lower ends, respectively, of the stiles. Methods of producing such a shutter are also provided herein. The methods include the step of producing a cartridge-like screening panel module in a standard length. The module is easily cut to produce a module segment of a desired length. The methods thus allow manufacturers of custom shutters to use standard size parts to produce custom-made shutters. The methods reduce the cost and production time of custom-made shutters.

  • Patent number: 6793447
Abstract: Method and device to make holes for components of wings for doors or windows comprising a frame consisting of uprights (14) on which blinds (16) oscillating with respect to an axis are mounted. The method provides to calculate the number of blinds (16) which can be applied in the wing and the interaxis “p” of the assembly holes (17) by dividing the height of the wing gap by the height of said blinds (16), rounding up the result of the division to obtain a whole number, calculating the overlap value between each blind (16) relation to the number of blinds (16) to be applied and comparing the overlap value obtained from this calculation with a pre-defined minimum value.

  • Patent number: 6510655
Abstract: Movement device (10) to selectively close blinds or jalousies oscillating in a wing (25) for doors or windows, comprising at least a movement rod (14) able to be constrained to the blinds or jalousies (12) and a plurality of connection elements (15) each one able to join the rod (14) to each of the blinds (12); the connection element (15) comprises a rotary element (15c) including at least a pin element (23) able to be inserted into a mating hole (20) made in the relative blind (12), an anchorage element (15a) including a body able to be inserted into a seating (16) made in the inner side of the rod (14) and an intermediate element (15b) able to connect the rotary element (15c) and the anchorage element (15a), and with respect to which intermediate element (15b) the rotary element (15c) is able to rotate during the movement of the blinds (12).
