  • Patent number: 7591290
Abstract: Safe filling is provided by a housing (8) controlling the pump (6) of the mobile tank (1) receiving, via a secondary hose (10), the pressure prevailing in the container (2) to be filled, a programmable logic enabling the pump to operate when the pressure measured in the container is within a predetermined range, adaptable according to the type of container. The invention is applicable in particular to gas containers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 23, 2004
Date of Patent: September 22, 2009
Assignee: L'Air Liquide, Societe Anonyme a Directoire et Conseil de Surveillance pour l'Etude et l'Exploitation des Procedes Georges Claude

  • Patent number: 6572351
Abstract: The invention concerns a vacuum pump consisting in the assembly of two stator half-shells (101, 102) and two directly mounted end parts (31, 32) with an interposed single-piece continuous pressure seal (33). The pressure seal (33) comprises two annular end parts (34, 35) generally parallel to each other and connected by two side-members (36, 37) which are generally perpendicular thereto. Thus, the number of components to be assembled to produce an multistage dry vacuum pump is reduced, while providing satisfactory impermeability to outside atmosphere.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 18, 2002
Date of Patent: June 3, 2003
    Assignee: Alcatel
    Inventors: Pascal Durand, Emmanuel Bourgeois

  • Patent number: 4913278
Abstract: Apparatus for feeding syringes into a cartoning machine in which the syringes slide down the feed section 10 of a guide 1 to a substantially horizontal central section 12. Rotatable adjacent this central section is a feed worm 2, the threads of which are of decreasing depth. As the syringes are fed forwardly toward a discharge section 14, the plungers of the syringes are forced to a fully inserted position by the decreasing depth of the thread.
