Abstract: The present invention relates to a wind blocker arrangement (1) for a personal vehicle embodied as a cabriolet, having a roller device (5) comprising a shaft (12) and a material web (7) that may be rolled onto the shaft (12), having a bow (8) to which the material web (7) is attached and by means of which the material web (7) may be unwound from the shaft (12), and having two lateral arms (9) that, when the material web (7) is extended, are disposed in the region of the lateral edges (14) of the material web (7) and that are pivotable transversely to the rotational axis (13) of the shaft (12). A particularly compact and comfortable construction may be achieved if the arms (9) are drive-coupled to the bow (8) such that the arms (9) pivoting open causes the bow (8) to pull out the material web (7).

Abstract: A pedal arrangement for a footwell of a motor vehicle. The pedal arrangement includes a bearing bracket operatively connected to a front wall of the motor vehicle. A pedal pivot shaft is provided on the bearing bracket at an upper bracket segment. The upper bracket segment is capable of being torn off from the remainder of the bearing bracket. At least one pedal lever is arranged pivotally on the pivot shaft. A tear-off lever element is capable of being engaged with an abutment attached to the motor vehicle and spaced from a floor and the front wall of the motor vehicle. In the event of a collision, the upper bracket segment is at least partially torn away from the remainder of the bearing bracket such that the at least one pedal lever is displaced away from the driver reducing the possibility of injury to the driver.

Abstract: In a motor vehicle body structure including a deformable passenger compartment front wall to which longitudinal forwardly extending frame members are connected and on which a pedal support block is mounted which is tilted backwardly and upwardly when the front wall is deformed by crash impact forces transmitted through the longitudinal frame members to the front wall, pedals pivotally mounted on the pedal support block have projections extending backwardly and having end portions guided by a guide surface so as to pivot the pedal arms forwardly when the pedal support block is tilted backwardly and upwardly by frontal impact forces.

Abstract: An improved pedal arrangement is provided in a foot space of a motor vehicle. Under a load applied during a frontal impact, it is known to uncouple a brake pedal from a brake operating unit when the brake pedal is fixedly disposed in the interior of a vehicle body. At least one pedal in the improved pedal arrangement has a lever extension which projects beyond a swivelling shaft. A dimensionally stable transmitting rod, which is aligned with the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, is linked to the lever extension in a force-transmitting manner. The transmitting rod is operatively connected by various elements with a vehicle operating unit.
