Abstract: A firing mechanism with safety device for firearms, especially sport and hunting rifles and shotguns, with at least one barrel and a firing pin associated therewith and operable by way of a striker member in that the member is movable into an uncocked position, under the influence of the force of a compressed spring, against the firing pin after a trigger lever locking the striker member in a cocked position has been placed into a release position, and with at least one trigger with an associated rocker arm. In order to secure the firearm against unintended firing of shots due to external impact effects, the striker member is fashioned as a slide and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction from a rearward cocked position into a forward uncocked position.

Abstract: Articulated connection between the break-open action and the at least one barrel of a rifle with two coaxial pairs of articulation members, the two articulation members (1a and 2a) of each pair complementing each other, and respectively one articulation member being provided at the break-open action (1) and, respectively, at the corresponding sidewall of the barrel (20). These articulation members (1a and 2a) exhibit a coupling profile (P1 and P2, respectively) ensuring a shape-mating connection between the break-open action (1) and the barrel (20) also transversely to the firing direction, this coupling profile permitting utilization of the axial pressure (S) produced during firing for generating a component force that is perpendicular to the aforementioned axial pressure (S) and counteracts the spreading apart of the sidewalls (1b) of the break-open action (1).

Abstract: A break-open action for sporting rifles comprising a forward part for connection with the at least one rifle barrel, which part can be releasably locked together with a rearward part by snug seats and corresponding fastening elements, and with the rearward part containing lock mechanisms for connection with the rifle stock.

Abstract: The safety device intended for firearms, particularly rifles, consists of two slides, arranged within the trigger device of the weapon, adjacently to each other, perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the bolt and displaceable in guides, with the slides being connected with each other by means of a two arm lever, so that a downward motion of one slide effects an upward movement of the other slide and vice versa, and whereby the lower part of at least one of the slides is projecting into the inner space of the trigger guard. One of the slides is designed so that it locks in the safety position the trigger body associated with the trigger and with its upper end extends through a bore in the bolt wall into a recess of the firing pin. The other slide has a configuration such that it represents in the release position a stop for a stop ring located adjacently to the front end of the bolt.
