The second device couples to the power source apparatus. The power source provides status information to the first device. The first device sends a communication to the power source apparatus via an application operating on the first device, wherein the communication provides a charging instruction to the power source device and the instruction is based on the status information received from the power source. The power source apparatus charges the second device based on the charging instruction received at the power source apparatus from the first device. The server communicates with the first device to maintain a database relating to at least one of the power source apparatus and the second device and comprising status information.
