  • Publication number: 20180316179
Abstract: An interrupter device for controlling provision of grid power to its output terminals is adapted to sense, using low voltage, electrical parameters measurable between its output terminals and connect or avoiding connection of AC power to the output terminals based on the sensed parameters. The interrupter device is adapted to identify if any load is connected to the output terminals, whether that load is a living tissue, whether the load may pose too-high load or has ground-fault.

  • Patent number: 9998198
Abstract: A method for detecting a dispersed pulse in a received signal that has been dispersed by a dispersive medium includes obtaining an input array of cells, each indicating an intensity of a frequency component of the signal at a representative time. A fast dispersion measure transform (FDMT) is applied to concurrently sum the cells of the input array that lie along different dispersion curves, each curve defined by a known non-linear functional form and being uniquely characterized by a time coordinate and by a value of the dispersion measure. Application of FDMT includes initially generating a plurality of sub-arrays, each representing a frequency sub-band and iteratively combining pairs of adjacent sub-arrays in accordance with an addition rule until all of the initially generated plurality of sub-arrays are combined into an output array of the sums, in which a cell of the output array that is indicative of a transmitted pulse is identified.

  • Publication number: 20170316521
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for optimizing self-power consumption. The device may sense one or more operating conditions of the device. The device may further select one or more operating parameters associated with at least one of the one or more operating conditions. The device may also estimate a power consumption associated with executing an algorithm to generate at least one updated value for at least one of the one or more operating parameters as well as estimate a power savings associated with operating using the updated value. The device may compare the estimated power consumption to the estimated power savings and determine whether to execute the algorithm based on the comparing.

  • Publication number: 20150362737
Abstract: An imaging method and system are provided, being particularly useful for imaging a relatively wide field of regard on a relatively small detection surface with high spatial resolution. The method comprises: creating a segmented image of a field of regard in an effective object plane, said image being formed by an array of N image parts of the field of regard; and projecting a selected number M?1 of patterns of structured light onto a detection surface, which is located in a plane conjugate to the effective object plane and has geometry and size substantially of the image part, each of the M patterns being formed by selected K light components of said N image parts concurrently projected onto the entire detection surface forming a superposition of the K image parts, thereby enabling reconstruction of the image of the field of regard from detected number M of patterns of the structured light.
