  • Publication number: 20210348344
Abstract: Apparatus for blending and applying plural substances including aggregate onto an environmental substrate is shown and described. The apparatus includes optionally a single power plant, plural pumps each fed by a respective hopper, and a blender blending pumped materials together. Dispensing ratios of the two pumps are mutually adjustable. An onboard air compressor delivers compressed air for atomizing blended materials as they are dispensed with the aggregate. Because materials may be curable or hardenable, flushing is enabled. The apparatus may be a free standing wheeled device.

  • Patent number: 9145255
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a fluent material, including a structural body including a fluid circuit for the thick fluent material and a pressure circuit for propelling and dispersing the thick fluent material. Thick fluent material is stored in a hopper and fed by gravity into the fluid circuit. The pressure circuit carrying for example compressed air branches into a first subcircuit arranged to propel thick fluent material towards the discharge nozzle, and a second subcircuit arranged to disperse the thick fluent material as it exists the discharge nozzle. First and second valves respectively control flow of pressurized air in the first and second subcircuits to independently adjust the rate of discharge and dispersion of the thick fluent material.

  • Patent number: 7922105
Abstract: An atomizer adapter for application of heavy viscous material from an airless paint sprayer. The adapter includes a housing that is coupled to the output of the sprayer through one housing port by an elongated tube that delivers viscous material and to the output of an air compressor through another housing port that delivers compressed air through a conduit. A nozzle within the housing directs pressurized air into an internal chamber where it is directed at and atomizes the flow of viscous material prior to output through an aperture in a tip fixed to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20070295834
Abstract: A sprayer for providing a regulated flow of material to a gun wherein said material is disbursed by means of a flow of air provided by a compressor. The sprayer includes a number of features that facilitate usage. Such features include a polygonal-shaped free end of a cartridge shaft that is aligned with and coupled to thereby rotate with the augur of a pump. An aperture in a guard that overlies the free end of the shaft permits easy access with a socket-like tool for unfreezing the pump without disassembly. The rear panel of a hopper exceeds that of the side and front panels to permit tipping of the sprayer frame for manual transport without spillage of material. A hook is provided on the frame of the sprayer for ready attachment and detachment of controller electronics.

  • Publication number: 20070286748
Abstract: A sprayer for providing a regulated flow of material to a gun includes apparatus for fixing a substantially-cylindrical stator to a circular port of a pump housing block. Such apparatus includes a pair of clips that are pivotally fixed to the exterior of the pump housing block. The clips are diagonally spaced with respect to the port. Apertures are arranged in the pump housing block to receive crimped portions of the clips to engage apertures within the surface of a collar fixed to an end portion of the stator. By fixing the stator to the pump housing block in a manner that is not subject to rotation, rotation of the rotor with respect to adhesive rubber material within the stator when torque is manually applied to the rotor.

  • Patent number: 6942191
Abstract: An antirotation device for preventing undesired rotation of a barrel in which a viscous fluid is being mixed or stirred. The device includes a subsstantially-planar member of generally-rectangular shape. An internal aperture is provided for accommodating a barrel. A clip is provided at the end of a chain that is engaged to a minor side of the substantially-planar member for grasping the brim of the barrel and elevating that side while anti-skid tape is fixed to the substantially-planar member adjacent the other minor side to provide a region onto which the worker may step firmly and securely and thereby effectively apply force for counteracting the torque applied to the barrel by the stirred or mixed viscous fluid. In an alternative embodiment, a rigid elongated strip that includes a hooked end is flexibly engaged to the substantially-planar member by means of a ring in the place of the chain and clip of the other embodiment.
