Abstract: A venting valve for cargo tanks in, for instance, oil tankers, comprising a valve housing, a valve body and a valve seat. Said valve has a first valve characteristic. According to the invention, another valve, that is built-in in the valve body, is provided since the latter is hollow in order to receive a further valve body that is displaceably arranged for interaction with a further valve seat. According to the invention, the further valve has a characteristic that is different from the characteristic of the first valve.
