  • Patent number: 8186590
Abstract: The present invention concerns a high speed machine for personalizing portable objects, incorporating an integrated circuit comprising at least one memory, the machine comprising a transfer device (3) for the portable objects to be personalized and a compact rotating drum (20) containing a plurality of interface electronic circuits, called couplers, each of these couplers being connected to at least one personalization station (22i) comprising at least one linking device with the integrated circuit of a portable object, characterized firstly in that each of these couplers is removably mounted so that it can be adapted to the type of programming used for the personalization data, and secondly in that the personalization stations (22i) are also removable for their adaptation to the type of portable objects (4) to be personalized and/or to the couplers used, the rotating drum (20) comprising grooved sections containing a plurality of grooves for latching of the personalization stations (22i).

  • Patent number: 7344231
Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital device for printing on “open” or “closed” surface substrates by demand bubble-jet comprising at least one built-in ink reservoir (13) with a system of anti-splash partitions, at least one printhead and one buffer reservoir, the whole located in a print module (1) which moves in relation to the substrate (5). The device comprises a means for creating, during operation of the module, on the one hand, a vacuum in the built-in reservoir, with a method of active regulation of this vacuum by adjustment of the ink level detected by a sensor attached to the built-in reservoir and, on the other hand, the air pressure in the built-in reservoir required for printhead cleaning phases.

Inventors: Ludovic Talon, Eric Auboussier, Yannick Suzanne, Sarah Suzanne
  • Patent number: 7045765
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for counting thin products (1) that can be stacked side-by-side in a tray (2), characterized in that it comprises at least one counting station comprised of at least one CIS module (31, 32, 33), whose overall length is at least equal to the length of the tray (2) and means for performing multiple scans in a direction transverse to the tray (2), each CIS module (31, 32, 33) comprising at least means for longitudinally illuminating the products (1) and at least one CIS circuit comprised of a plurality of photosensitive elements connected to at least one printed circuit, the counting device also comprises means for detecting the positioning of the tray (2), means for moving the tray in a direction perpendicular to the light beam, means for storing the signals representative of the data of the light beam reflected by the products (1), and means for processing said data for determining the number of products.
