  • Publication number: 20240116588
Abstract: A bicycle-mountable carrier assembly includes a mounting assembly attachable to a rail of the bicycle's saddle. At least one payload support is joined, e.g., pivotably, to the mounting assembly. The payload support defines a structure for mounting at least one payload carrier attachment in a secure but removable fashion. One or more payload supports may be provided, and one or more mounting structures may be provided on each payload support. The mounting structures may be provided in a rear- and side-facing positions and in different angular orientations, for carrying of payloads in a variety of different positions and orientations. The carrier further includes at least one payload carrier attachment defining a mounting structure complementary to the payload support's mounting structure. The payload carrier may be adapted to function as a fishing rod holder, a fishing rod case holder, a water bottle, a fishing tackle box, or another payload as desired.

  • Publication number: 20210204566
Abstract: The present invention relates to animal feed ingredients and products, methods of producing such ingredients and products, and feed diets containing such ingredients and products. In one aspect, the present invention relates to a fermented vegetable protein (FVP) ingredient or product. Accordingly, the feed ingredient or product of the present invention can include one or more organic acids and is rich in amino acids. In one aspect, the feed ingredient can be produced using a fermentation process, for example through the fermentation of a corn mill stream such as light steep water. In one aspect, the present invention relates to feed products combining the feed ingredient with other components. The feed ingredients and products described herein are particularly useful for aquaculture, such as fanned shrimp.

  • Patent number: 10433595
Abstract: A garment related to leg protection for hazardous activities. Darts and pleats sewn or otherwise constructed into such a garment to improve fit and contouring. The garment may comprise a belt assembly providing improved comfort and reduced fatigue and injury with pivot points adjacent a wearer's hips. The belt assembly may have a shape to mimic that of a human pelvis. Such a shape may facilitate the transfer of weight more directly onto the wearer's bone structure with less strain on the wearer's muscles.

  • Patent number: 8092187
Abstract: A blade for the use in the generation of power has a leading edge and a trailing edge. A first shell portion of the blade extends from the leading edge to the trailing edge. A second shell portion of the blade also extends from the leading edge to the trailing edge. A root portion of the blade is positioned proximate the wind turbine and a tip portion which extends from the root portion away from the wind turbine. A trailing edge insert is positioned between the first shell portion and the second shell portion proximate the root portion. The trailing edge insert has a surface which extends between and separates the first shell portion from the second shell portion at the trailing edge, such that the insert provides a high lift profile for increased blade efficiency.
