    Abstract: A hand guard attachment system for releasably attaching a hand guard to a firearm is disclosed herein. The system includes the hand guard having a proximal end configured to engage a forward end of a receiver of the firearm. The system further includes a tensioning assembly configured to interface between the hand guard and the forward end of the firearm. The tensioning assembly is further configured to selectively maintain an engaged position between the hand guard and the firearm such that the hand guard is releasably attached to the firearm without interfering with, or requiring removal of, the barrel and/or barrel nut connected to the receiver.

    Abstract: A revolver type cylinder with a plurality of chambers for a shotgun. The rotating cylinder is generally hexagonal in cross-section and formed as an injection molded plastic part with openings that receive metal chamber sleeves. The cylinder has a rotation axis and a seventh opening surrounding the axis. The cylinder is mounted to, and rotatable on a receiver on a rotor and a cylinder pin captured within the seventh opening so as to prevent rotation of the cylinder pin with respect to the cylinder body. The cylinder pin has portions forming a central axial opening which extends along the rotational axis and a spring arranged to retract the cylinder pin into the cylinder body. A trigger linkage is mounted for movement in the central axial opening for linking a trigger to a firing mechanism through the opening.

At least one loop extends outward from the sling mount for use in attaching a sling. This passage may require a hole to be cut into the casing of the firearm for accommodation. The shape, size, contours and location of the sling mount will be dependent upon the intended weapon platform. In any event, the at least one loop provides attachment for a sling while also avoiding entanglement of the sling with a folding stock.
