  • Publication number: 20230104996
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices for controlling charging of vehicles, to avoid charging during charge-adverse time periods or during charge restriction events. This can advantageously reduce cost to vehicles owners, and or provide access to reward incentives. Further, power distribution entities (utility providers) advantageously have increased control over power distribution to avoid over-burdening of power distribution infrastructure. Further, systems and methods for determining or inferring whether a vehicle is connected to a charge station are described, which can be used to inform automatic restriction of vehicle charging.

  • Patent number: 11562284
Abstract: In a general aspect, a gate is formed for a quantum processor. In some implementations, an arbitrary program is received. The arbitrary program includes a first sequence of quantum logic gates, which includes a parametric XY gate. A native gate set is identified, which includes a set of quantum logic gates associated with a quantum processing unit. A second sequence of quantum logic gates corresponding to the parametric XY gate is identified, which includes a parametric quantum logic gate. Each of the quantum logic gates in the second sequence is selected from the native gate set. A native program is generated. The native program includes a third sequence of quantum logic gates. The third sequence of quantum logic gates corresponds to the first sequence of quantum logic gates and includes the second sequence of quantum logic gates. The native program is provided for execution by the quantum processing unit.

  • Publication number: 20220385476
Abstract: A first chain of custody verifiable claim is received by a second entity from a first entity. The first chain of custody verifiable claim is signed by the first entity and specifies that an object was in the custody of the first entity. A distributed ledger is accessed to verify the first chain of custody verifiable claim. A second chain of custody verifiable claim is generated that embeds the first chain of custody verifiable claim and is signed by the second entity. The second chain of custody verifiable claim is recorded on the distributed ledger. The second chain of custody verifiable claim is provided to a third entity. The second chain of custody verifiable claim is configured to specify to the third entity that the object was in the custody of the second entity.

  • Patent number: 11494681
Abstract: A compiler for a gate-based superconducting quantum computer compiles hybrid classical/quantum algorithms for quantum processing cells with different configurations. The compiler inputs the algorithm and outputs code in a target language executable by a quantum processing cell of a quantum processing system that can execute the algorithm. The compiler includes various functionality, such as: parsing, analyzing control flows, addressing, compressing, and translating. The compiler optimizes algorithms in various manners using the functionality. Some optimizations include addressing efficiently, compressing based on simulations, and translating for efficient execution of parametric functions. The compiler may function in the environment of a cloud quantum computing system. The cloud quantum computing system may receive algorithms from remote access nodes for execution on local classical and quantum computing systems.

  • Patent number: 11493545
Abstract: A measurement device, such as a power meter or power submeter, may comprise a frame disposed in a housing dividing an interior volume of the housing into a first volume and a second volume. An external power source is connected to the device in the first volume and the frame may serve as an insulative barrier between the first volume and an exterior it and the housing. The device may alternatively, or additional include, an user interface assembly that is configured to mounted in a same orientation regardless of an orientation of the device or housing of a device relative to the external power source.

  • Publication number: 20220294869
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include systems and methods for injecting content into a webpage at or local to a network access gateway. For example, in an embodiment, a network access gateway is provided for accessing the internet. A user logs onto the internet through the network access gateway and request a webpage. The gateway requests the webpage from the webpage provider. Before the gateway delivers the webpage to the user, the gateway, or a content injection engine local to the gateway, injects content, such as, for example, advertisements or other useful information, into the webpage and then sends the altered webpage to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220211991
Abstract: A method and device for positioning an expandable support in a blood vessel is disclosed herein. The device may include a handle, a catheter assembly, a core wire, and an expandable support. The expandable support may be used to position the device relative to the arteriotomy, as well as to provide temporary hemostasis. The expandable support may be attached to the catheter assembly at a first end, and to the core wire at a second end to optimize the width of the expandable support based on the function being performed by the expandable support at a given time.
