Abstract: Firearm discharge location systems and methods are described. According to one aspect, a firearm discharge location system includes a plurality of microphones spaced from one another, timing circuitry configured to generate a plurality of asynchronous timing references, wherein data capture operations with respect to the microphones of a first pair are synchronized with one another using a first of the timing references and data capture operations with respect to the microphones of a second pair are synchronized with one another using a second of the timing references, and processing circuitry configured to use outputs of the first and second pairs of the microphones to identify a location of a firearm discharge.

Abstract: A data structure and method are disclosed for encapsulating a message with a verifiable message ID and a verifiable identification of message interpretation information. The encapsulated message includes a message set and a data generated message identifier. The message set includes a message body that contains the content of a message and a data generated interpretation identifier that verifiably identifies an interpretation file that may be used to interpret the message body. The data generated message identifier is a hash function of the message set that includes the message body and the data generated interpretation identifier. The data generated message identifier is determined such that the data generated message identifier verifiably identifies the message set.

Abstract: A method of processing a transaction message is disclosed. The method includes receiving an incoming raw transport message. The raw transport message is stored in a channel interface database. A raw message identifier is generated. The raw message identifier is determined such that the raw message identifier verifiably identifies the raw message. A communications context identifier is generated. The communications context identifier is determined such that the communications context identifier verifiably identifies the raw message and the channel. The raw message is converted into a transaction message and the transaction message is validated.
