  • Publication number: 20210022270
Abstract: A constrainer includes a base and two arms mechanically coupled to the base. The base and two arms receive a device while the constrainer is in a first state and, while the constrainer is transitioning from the first state to a second state and while the device is disposed in the constrainer, place the device in a predetermined orientation.

  • Publication number: 20210018445
Abstract: A data processing device includes an internal volume that is electromagnetic interference (EMI) isolated and an optical state detector. The optical state detector obtains electromagnetic radiation from the internal volume while the internal volume is EMI isolated and makes a determination that a device disposed in the internal volume has an optical state associated with the electromagnetic radiation.

  • Publication number: 20210018546
Abstract: A data processing device includes an internal volume that is electromagnetic interference (EMI) isolated. The data processing device further includes an electromagnetic radiation (EMR) suppressing vent that defines one wall of the internal volume. The data processing device further includes a wireless system. The wireless system includes a first portion that is disposed in the internal volume. The first portion receives network data units from EMI emitting devices disposed in the internal volume and a second portion of the wireless system. The second portion is disposed outside of the internal volume and obtains the network data units from the first portion using a wireless connection that utilizes a transmission path that traverses through the EMR suppressing vent.

  • Publication number: 20210022277
Abstract: A data processing device includes an internal volume that is electromagnetic interference (EMI) isolated and a communication system, disposed in the internal volume, that: determines a first EMI state of at least one device of devices disposed in the internal volume; makes a determination that the first EMI state is an EMI emitting state; and disables communications by the communication system using a high-speed connection while allowing the communications using a low-speed connection.

  • Patent number: 10869415
Abstract: A system for providing electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression includes a data processing device. The data processing device includes a payload module that suppresses EMI from an internal volume to an ambient environment by greater than 90 decibels; the internal volume adapted to house EMI emitting devices that generate EMI; and an input control system disposed within the internal volume. The input control system includes a command input device translatable along axes and adapted to mechanically input commands into the EMI emitting devices.

  • Patent number: 10573329
Abstract: Methods and systems for high frequency injection and detection for improved false acceptance reduction are disclosed. An information handling system may be configured to receive audio data and to add an identification signal to the audio data, wherein the identification signal is determined based on the audio data. The combined audio data and the identification signal may be output to a receiving device. An information handling system may also be configured to receive data that includes audio data and an identification signal that is associated with one or more frequencies in the audio data, identify the one or more frequencies in the audio data that are associated with the identification signal, and attenuate the one or more frequencies in the audio data to obtain modified audio data. The modified audio data may be output for audio processing.

  • Patent number: 9857856
Abstract: A method determines power supply unit configurations in an information handling system. The method includes determining, via a controller, a first amount of power required to operate functional components of the IHS. A history table is retrieved containing a plurality of power supply unit (PSU) configurations and PSU data. The method further includes determining if the history table contains a first PSU configuration corresponding to the first amount of power. In response to determining that the history table contains the first PSU configuration corresponding to the first amount of power, the PSUs identified as active mode PSUs in the first PSU configuration are triggered to be in an active mode and operating at the corresponding percentage load and the PSUs identified as sleep mode PSUs in the first PSU configuration are triggered to be in a sleep mode.
