  • Patent number: 8212601
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing system clock failover using a one-shot circuit are disclosed. A process, in one embodiment, is able to detect a clock failure using a one-shot circuit, wherein the clock signals are generated by a first clock circuit. Upon generating a switching signal in response to the clock failure, a system reset signal is asserted for a predefined time period in accordance with the clock failure. After switching a second clock circuit to replace the first clock circuit, the process is capable of resuming the clock signals via the second clock circuit.

  • Publication number: 20060253975
Abstract: A self-adhesive washer including a pressure sensitive adhesive on both sides of a center layer. The washer is preferably used to attach a drain shoe to a bathtub in combined bathtub and shower units to eliminate the need for more than one installer. The washer may be adapted to fit the shape of the drain shoe. Washers having both adhesive layers and a center layer, preferably cellular plastic, may serve both to adhere the drain shoe to the bathtub, and after completion of the drain assembly installation, to seal the drain shoe to the bathtub.

  • Patent number: 6934854
Abstract: The access time for the use of an electronic device, for example a chip, is prolonged after each unauthorized access attempt. The access time is determined by the time for the matching of the turn-on voltages of two floating gate cells. Before an access attempt, the turn-on voltage of one cell is set to a predefined initial value and the turn-on voltage of the other cell is set to a value which is higher in comparison and which is increased after each unauthorized access.
