  • Patent number: 11177027
Abstract: A wearable data storage and transmission device and related systems that collect and store sensor data from sensors worn by a user. The device components can include a processor, battery, data storage media, NFC components, Bluetooth components, Wi-Fi components, and wired communications components. The device can remain powered down, powering up periodically to collect sensor data using low energy methods and/or in response to receiving a signal (e.g., NFC, power, Bluetooth, etc.) from an external device that causes the device to power up its components and make sensor data available to the external device. The collected sensor data may be encoded, compressed, stored, and/or exchanged in one or more structured records using various methods to improve the information storage capabilities of the device, including using the disclosed QR coding methods.

  • Publication number: 20210225103
Abstract: Secure storage platforms and their application in secure temporary property storage applications are disclosed and comprise: secure locker systems; secure locker systems comprising emergency access; secure locker systems comprising collapsible lockable compartments; secure storage systems comprising chain of custody management, recording and authentication; redirected delivery including post-delivery redirected delivery, en route delivery and dispatch delivery services comprising chain of custody services; and secure property claim check and car valet systems. A secure storage platform uses a secure protocol to establish challenge code and verification code generators to provide short lived single use access authentication codes to enable secure access and custody management of secured and stored property.

  • Patent number: 10964142
Abstract: Secure custody transfers of items among entities including secure lockable compartments are disclosed, wherein users may securely transfer custody of items to and from secure lockable compartments. Records of custody transfers and the custody transfers recorded therein may be associated to a chain of custody. A chain of custody may have an originating entity, one or more intermediary entities, which may include secure lockable compartments, and an end recipient entity. Custody transfers to a secure lockable compartment may include a release authority specifying a subsequent custody transfer, wherein a specified receiving user may access the secure lockable compartment using a portable wireless device and/or using a keypad to enter a provided access token. Custody transfer records may be secured using record certificates useable to authenticate data comprised therein. Record certificates may be written to and retrieved from a ledger, which may be a secure ledger such as a blockchain ledger.
