  • Publication number: 20050012413
Abstract: An electric machine includes a rotor and a stator, with at least the stator having salient poles and plural bobbins received by the poles. Each of the bobbins has a winding which is configured as toothed coil. Each bobbin includes a contact carrier for attachment of a winding starting end and a winding terminal end of the coil.

  • Publication number: 20050000195
Abstract: A filter stop for a vacuum cleaner contains a dust chamber that is closable with a lid and receives a dust bag with a reinforcement plate in a specific fitting position. The filter stop has a base plate that is movable between two stopping positions parallel to the direction in which the reinforcement plate of the dust bag is inserted into the dust chamber. The filter stop is also provided with a swiveling lever that can be brought into a position activating the vacuuming function of the vacuum cleaner by the reinforcement plate when the dust bag is correctly positioned. The swiveling lever is in a position preventing the vacuuming function from being activated when the dust bag is not correctly positioned. The filter stop can be brought into a stop position activating the vacuuming function exclusively when the swiveling lever is actuated by a shoulder of the reinforcement plate.

  • Publication number: 20040262911
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner including a housing with a dust container therein and a suction opening with a detachable connection of a suction hose to the opening. The housing having an outer wall aligned with the suction opening and the suction opening in an inner wall. The connector body of the suction hose having tubular end piece with a connecting cone insertable into the suction opening through both walls of the housing and into the dust container.

  • Publication number: 20040261553
Abstract: A drive system includes a rotary drive unit for rotating a shaft and a linear drive unit for moving the shaft in a linear direction. To improve efficiency and shelf life, an energy storage is mechanically connected to the shaft for biasing the shaft to seek a linear movement in opposition to the linear direction. The energy storage absorbs the kinetic energy of the shaft and releases it again subsequently.

  • Publication number: 20040181897
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner with a housing and a housing cover with a cable-pull opening in the housing cover. An electric cable has a plug on one end which can be pulled through a cut-out which is larger than the plug. During assembly the plug is pulled through the cut-out and then into a cable run area formed on one side of the cut-out and connected by a slit large enough for the cable but too small to accommodate the plug.

  • Publication number: 20040140708
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a housing and at least one running roller operatively connected to the housing. The roller has a hub, a running ring, a wall connecting the running ring and the hub. The wall has two side surfaces and a curved cross-section between the running ring and the hub. The roller has at least one reinforcing rib extending at least from one of the two side surfaces of the wall and being in contact with neither the hub nor the running ring in a non-loaded state of the running roller. The roller forms an elastic caster with a nave and a bearing race. The nave and the bearing race are connected to another by an S or Z-shaped curved wall. Ribs are provided for reinforcing the wall or the nave.
