  • Patent number: 4632356
Abstract: A vertically adjustable, shock-absorbing mounting device for supporting an object comprises a foundation body including a metallic cover plate, and a support plate having an underside and a supporting surface for the object. The support plate includes a ledge protruding from the support at no more than two adjoining sides of the support plate for engaging and retaining the object on the supporting surface against rotation in relation thereto. A threaded spindle has an upper end connected with the underside of the support plate and a lower end connected with the cover plate, one of the spindle ends being in threaded connection and the other spindle end being in locking connection with the respective plate whereby rotation of the threaded spindle adjusts the spacing between the foundation and the support plate while the object is held against rotation by the retaining engagement with the ledge.

  • Patent number: 4273213
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with an element for the sonic and vibratory absorption, comprising a ledge having ribs of flexible material longitudinally extending along the top and bottom sides, with the top-side ribs over the bottom-side ribs being arranged in staggered relationship. According to the invention, such an element is improved in that provided between respectively two ribs of approximately trapezoidal cross-section is another rib equally of approximately trapezoidal cross-section of an inferior height, which continues to extend through the central area of the element upwardly and downwardly, respectively, in the respective rib of greater height, and that at least on one longitudinal side of the element a stop is provided extending over the entire length of the element.

  • Patent number: 4182434
Abstract: An oscillation insulator, especially in the form of a connecting and supporting device between two bodies each of which has rigidly connected thereto a supporting element embedded in viscous-elastic material. The supporting element associated with one of these bodies is located between the other one of the bodies and the supporting element for the last mentioned body. The supporting elements are designed as supporting discs, and the rigid connection between the respective bodies and their pertaining supporting discs is formed by a pull connection, e.g. tension bolts, under the pre-load of the viscous elastic material.

  • Patent number: 4102522
Abstract: A supporting element for supporting an article such as a machine, pump, boiler and the like in a sound and shock insulating manner. A load distributing supporting plate with an abutment and with an elastic body is mounted on the bottom side of the supporting plate and is made of oil-resistant rubber material. The abutment is an angle-shaped wall which is formed by an angle-shaped strip on the supporting plate or is formed by a corresponding recess in the supporting plate. Connected to the bottom side of the supporting plate is an elastic body having a portion in the form of a plug which extends through the supporting plate, and if desired projects slightly beyond the top surface of the supporting plate.
